BRABUS AB110 Makes Monaco Debut With 48-Knot Top Speed

BRABUS and AB Yachts have used Monaco Yacht Show 2026 to reveal the 33.7-metre BRABUS AB110, the first yacht developed through their new collaboration. The high-performance model combines AB Yachts’ waterjet engineering with BRABUS design, interior and performance branding, and is quoted with a maximum speed of 48 knots.

The AB110 is also the first completed expression of a wider three-model range announced by the two companies. It sits between the planned 95-foot AB95 and 150-foot AB150, extending BRABUS into the large-yacht market for the first time.

Triple MTU power and waterjet propulsion

The BRABUS AB110 can be specified with up to three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each rated at 1,939kW or 2,600hp. Power is transferred through a waterjet propulsion system, with AB Yachts quoting a maximum speed of 48 knots for the 110-foot platform.

The yacht measures 33.70 metres overall with a 6.80-metre maximum beam and a 1.30-metre draught. Advanced stabilisation technology is also part of the package, with the system intended to improve comfort both while travelling and when the yacht is at anchor.

BRABUS design moves onto the water

The exterior incorporates a BRABUS carbon-fibre design treatment, while the interior adopts the company’s Masterpiece approach to materials and detailing. Accommodation is configured for up to ten guests, placing the yacht firmly in the performance-superyacht segment rather than the smaller dayboat market.

At the stern, a versatile garage arrangement can be transformed into a sea-level beach area and lounge. The concept combines the practical tender-storage requirement with a guest space intended to become part of the yacht’s waterside living area once toys and equipment are deployed.

AB95 and AB150 extend the collaboration

The AB110 is the centre model in the new BRABUS and AB Yachts range. A smaller BRABUS AB95 and a larger BRABUS AB150 are planned, giving the partnership three different platforms built around the same high-performance positioning.

The companies say the 150-foot AB150 is scheduled for its world premiere at Monaco Yacht Show 2027, which will also mark BRABUS’ 50th anniversary. That makes the AB110 the starting point for a programme rather than a single branded special edition.

Monaco provides the first public test

The AB110 is on display in Monaco through 26 September, giving clients and the industry their first opportunity to inspect the joint project in finished form. The launch also gives AB Yachts a new route into customers familiar with BRABUS from the automotive sector but looking for a yacht developed around similar performance and design cues.

For the superyacht market, the most significant element is the combination of a 33.7-metre platform with very high quoted speed and a new luxury brand partnership. The AB110 now provides the first real-world reference point for how the BRABUS identity translates from road vehicles into a full-size yacht.
