Edmiston has confirmed five superyachts from 28.5m to 59.9m for Fort Lauderdale's 2026 boat show, including IDOL, DOMANI, RULE NO.1, KNICKERBOCKER and BLONDIE.

Five-yacht selection announced for Fort Lauderdale

Edmiston has identified five yachts from 28.5 to almost 60 metres for its display at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which runs from 28 October to 1 November. The broker's confirmed 19 October announcement spans motor yachts and a classic sailing yacht, presenting buyers with very different cruising profiles rather than a lineup built around a single category.

The published list comprises IDOL, DOMANI, RULE NO.1, KNICKERBOCKER and BLONDIE. Each is offered for sale, according to Edmiston's event presentation, with viewings arranged through its brokerage team. The announcement is a forward-looking show schedule, and interested buyers should confirm the yacht's availability and appointment requirements before travelling.

IDOL brings 60m volume and long-range potential

At 59.9 metres, the Austal-built IDOL is the largest vessel in the confirmed group. Edmiston describes 918 gross tonnes of internal volume, guest accommodation for 14 across seven cabins and a stated cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles, along with a touch-and-go helicopter facility and spacious open-air decks.

Sorgiovanni Designs is credited with both her exterior and interior design, while the broker highlights substantial investment and refit work. The advertised asking figure is US$22 million with European VAT paid, as shown in Edmiston's October listing. Buyers comparing a large pre-owned yacht with new construction will want to examine the refit's detailed scope and current class records, not just headline volume.

DOMANI: steel-hulled Benetti with recent survey

The 45-metre DOMANI represents the custom Italian motor-yacht end of the selection. Edmiston says the steel-hulled Benetti has completed its ten-year special survey, carries comparatively low engine hours and accommodates 12 plus two guests in six cabins, with interior styling by Galeazzi Architetti.

Her published asking price is €20 million excluding VAT, and the broker lists 2016 as the build year with a 2026 update. A special survey is a meaningful checkpoint, but it is not a substitute for independent inspection of machinery, hull condition and the supporting reports. Buyers should request the survey documentation and precise current specification before treating similar-sized yachts as like-for-like alternatives.

RULE NO.1 blends Westport speed with refit work

The 40-metre Westport RULE NO.1 provides another American-built choice, with accommodation for 10 plus two guests in five cabins and a broker-reported maximum speed of 22 knots. Edmiston emphasizes her outdoor entertaining spaces and a multi-million-dollar refit undertaken across 2023 and 2024.

The yacht is listed at US$14.59 million excluding VAT in the show announcement. For a purchaser, the important follow-up is to establish which systems and interior areas were addressed during the refit and what warranty or service records are available. A speed figure helps define an operating envelope but cannot, on its own, establish comfort or fuel use on a particular passage.

KNICKERBOCKER offers a classic sailing alternative

KNICKERBOCKER shifts the emphasis from high-volume motor-yacht living to traditional offshore sailing. The 35.8-metre Palmer Johnson cruising ketch was built in 1992 and, according to Edmiston, refitted in 2025. The broker points to design contributions from Sparkman & Stephens and John Munford and to a maintenance history intended to support continued long-range use.

The published asking price is US$2.75 million excluding VAT, with accommodation for six guests in three cabins. That pricing should not be compared directly with a much larger motor yacht without accounting for sailing systems, age, operating demands and survey outcomes. The vessel nevertheless gives visitors an uncommon chance to assess a classic American sailing design alongside contemporary powered superyachts at the same show.

BLONDIE rounds out the range at 28.5m

The smallest yacht in the named Edmiston group is BLONDIE, a 28.5-metre Van der Valk built in 2020 with updates listed for 2025. Her design is attributed to Guido de Groot, and Edmiston describes a five-cabin arrangement for ten guests, an expansive flybridge and a beach club with a sauna.

The broker also reports a 2025 RINA five-year survey and other upgrades. BLONDIE appears in its show listing at US$10.25 million excluding VAT, offering buyers a different mix of guest capacity and contemporary accommodation within a shorter overall hull length. As with the other listings, condition and ownership costs need a vessel-specific assessment.

How prospective buyers can use the show

Viewing five yachts back-to-back can make contrasts in circulation, service spaces, crew arrangements and outdoor living easier to understand than specifications alone. Edmiston says private appointments will be coordinated from its client space, with chauffeur transport and tender transfers available as part of its show arrangements.

The October show is an opportunity for preliminary comparison, not a replacement for due diligence. Asking figures, tax status and availability can change; professional surveys, title checks, maintenance records and sea trials should follow for any yacht moving toward a purchase. The five confirmed vessels nonetheless give the 2026 Fort Lauderdale event a useful cross-section of superyacht types and budgets.
