Horizon Yachts is showing its FD110 Tri-Deck Hull Seven at Fort Lauderdale, illustrating the builder’s approach to spacious 34-metre motor-yacht living.

Hull Seven takes its place in Florida

Horizon Yachts is presenting the FD110 Tri-Deck Hull Seven at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which runs from 28 October to 1 November 2026. The Taiwan-based builder identifies the particular yacht as the leading member of a four-vessel display on the Face Dock in slips 600–606. It offers visitors a closer look at how the company adapts its Fast Displacement design language for individual owners.

The significance is the hull-specific fit-out rather than the first announcement of the FD110 model. Horizon’s show description details finishes, living arrangements and equipment chosen for Hull Seven. For experienced buyers, this provides a more useful starting point than a generic rendering because the choices can be inspected on the actual yacht.

A 34-metre tri-deck arrangement

Horizon lists the FD110 at 33.99 metres overall with a beam of 7.47 metres and a draft of approximately 1.88 metres. The manufacturer offers tri-deck and skyline configurations, with a high-volume main deck, raised exterior areas and space dedicated to crew operations. These proportions allow substantial guest areas without requiring an extreme-length platform.

The hull’s intended operating areas and local marina constraints should be reviewed before purchase. Height, deck equipment and the final loaded draft affect where a yacht can conveniently travel. A spacious layout is valuable only if the vessel can be supported comfortably by the ports, yards and crew infrastructure used during the owner’s programme.

Material choices establish a distinctive interior

The builder says Hull Seven features washed white oak with a crown-cut grain, silver-grey lacquer and a dining table finished in Versace Statuario White marble. The effect is intended to be calm and contemporary rather than visually crowded. Horizon’s announcement also mentions pocket doors that can separate the galley, allowing service activity to be screened from guest spaces when appropriate.

These choices are a reminder that yacht interiors must support daily life as well as create a first impression. Materials need to withstand movement at sea and frequent care, while service arrangements must work with a professional crew. Guests may value an open, relaxed atmosphere at one moment and privacy during formal dining at another.

Five staterooms around an on-deck master

Hull Seven is described with an on-deck owner’s suite and four guest staterooms on the lower deck. This arrangement prioritises owner privacy and main-deck access while preserving flexibility for family and friends. Horizon’s broader FD110 design is intended to support comfortable entertaining without making the guest accommodation feel secondary.

When assessing such a layout, prospective buyers should check the actual lower-deck circulation, berth arrangements and proximity to crew work areas. The separation of guests from machinery and service routes is a significant part of long-term comfort. A well-executed cabin plan is measured by how it works underway, at anchor and with every berth occupied.

Outdoor areas extend the programme

The Horizon show announcement identifies a foredeck Jacuzzi and a private upper-deck sun lounge among Hull Seven’s outdoor features. The yacht also uses the FD family’s emphasis on practical waterside space. These areas make it possible for different groups to relax separately, a valuable quality when families spend extended periods aboard together.

Outdoor furniture, shade and spa equipment introduce their own maintenance and load considerations. Owners should examine how the areas are secured for sea passages and how the crew can prepare them safely at anchor. The opportunity to move between sheltered and open spaces matters, but so does the ease of restoring the yacht to a safe underway condition.

The published propulsion specification

Horizon’s general FD110 model information lists twin Caterpillar C32A engines at 1,600 horsepower each, a fuel capacity of approximately 17,030 litres and fresh-water capacity of around 3,030 litres. These figures are manufacturer model specifications; a hull-specific technical schedule remains necessary before drawing conclusions about endurance, speed or equipment aboard Hull Seven.

Every long-range cruising programme needs reliable fuel calculations and a clear operating plan. A yacht designed around generous internal volume will have its own performance priorities, so a prospective owner should compare verified sea-trial data with the desired passages. Comfort, reliability and range need to be considered together.

What the Fort Lauderdale visit offers

Horizon’s FD110 appears alongside the FD90 Skyline, FD80 Skyline and V77s at the company’s Florida display. The chance to visit those different sizes helps owners understand how interior volume, crew requirements and exterior areas change through the range. Hull Seven’s actual materials and deck arrangement provide a tangible example of the yard’s customisation capabilities.

For the superyacht market, the display reinforces the continuing appeal of volume-focused motor yachts in the 30–35-metre segment. Horizon’s claims should still be tested through technical surveys, builder documentation and sea trials. The strongest reason to inspect Hull Seven is to see whether the complete arrangement serves a clearly defined cruising lifestyle.
