Brazil's INACE Superyachts is pursuing international buyers with four 32–47m explorer projects and three custom yacht families, supported by an IYC sales partnership.

A Brazilian yard turns outward to international buyers

Brazilian shipyard INACE Superyachts has put fresh emphasis on its explorer-yacht programme as it broadens its reach outside its home market. An October 15 industry profile published with the yard's participation highlights custom displacement yachts, long-distance capability and a pipeline of four new projects between approximately 32 and 47 metres. The development concerns the company's current commercial plans, not four completed deliveries.

Founded in Fortaleza in 1968, INACE spent decades building vessels for demanding commercial and government duties before extending its expertise into privately owned expedition-style yachts. That industrial background is central to the yard's present offering, but buyers should assess each project against its own construction specification rather than assume that experience in one vessel type guarantees performance in another.

A real pipeline beneath the marketing narrative

INACE and its international sales partner IYC previously disclosed four projects in development, ranging from about 104 to 154 feet, with deliveries indicated across late 2026 and 2027. Those figures provide a tangible basis for discussing the yard's development beyond renderings. Construction and delivery schedules, however, should be confirmed for each individual hull because changes to owner specifications or equipment availability can affect the programme.

The company's portfolio includes several distinct families of steel-and-aluminium motor yachts. The most useful distinction for a buyer is between a platform already under contract, a model available for custom ordering and a concept presented to show the yard's capabilities. A model catalogue is not itself a list of vessels already built.

Three ranges with different priorities

INACE groups its contemporary superyacht offering into Aventura, Explora and Designer series. The Aventura family is positioned around long-range cruising with residential spaces, while Explora places particular emphasis on practical expedition capability and generous volume. The Designer range is intended to accommodate a broader degree of bespoke exterior and interior development.

These labels help frame the choice, but they do not define a yacht's final equipment. The number of guest cabins, size of the crew, tank capacities, classification and systems for launching tenders are decisions that must appear in the contract and general-arrangement drawings. A buyer comparing two proposals should use measured specifications rather than the style of a brochure image.

Fortaleza and the commercial-vessel legacy

The yard's location in Fortaleza gives it access to maritime trades developed around fishing, cargo and offshore activities along Brazil's northeastern coast. INACE credits experience with commercial and military vessels for its approach to hull structure and machinery arrangements. Its construction philosophy favours steel hulls and aluminium superstructures on larger projects.

That combination is well established in the explorer-yacht sector but brings practical responsibilities. Coating systems, insulation of dissimilar metals, corrosion monitoring and access to structure are all important when a yacht is expected to operate for many years. An independent technical adviser should review scantlings, machinery arrangements and quality-control documentation before building claims are accepted.

The appeal of owners specifying an expedition yacht

Experienced owners who have spent time on conventional luxury yachts may develop different priorities for their next vessel. Instead of placing maximum emphasis on an expansive beach club or high sprint speed, they may value water and fuel autonomy, reliable machinery, safe tenders and facilities that remain useful when shore support is limited.

Yet an explorer label alone does not establish a vessel's range or ice capability. Buyers should verify any intended operating area against fuel-consumption calculations, stabilisation equipment, stores capacity, crew training and applicable certifications. Responsible planning also requires suitable rescue and communication arrangements for the regions the owner hopes to visit.

The international connection with IYC

In June 2026, IYC announced a global partnership to represent INACE's yacht programme in international markets. The collaboration identifies Pierre Vezilier as a principal point of contact for Europe and other regions and Adam Levine for the United States, providing prospective clients with brokerage relationships outside Brazil.

This commercial arrangement can help an overseas buyer evaluate specifications, shipyard visits and potential resale considerations without relying entirely on remote marketing. It does not replace legal due diligence or independent construction supervision. A prospective client should confirm which party is acting as builder, which party is introducing the sale and who will carry responsibility for warranties after delivery.

A 46-metre explorer illustration

Among the designs on the company's official website is a 46-metre custom yacht that illustrates the type of large platform the yard wants to offer. The published visualisation shows a layered aft-deck layout and substantial outdoor facilities integrated into a relatively robust motor-yacht profile. The image is a design illustration rather than proof of a completed example.

Customisation can change the experience significantly. A family planning warm-weather coastal trips may prefer a different terrace, tender or cabin arrangement from an owner preparing long Atlantic passages. The engineering task is to preserve appropriate stability, service access and crew workflows while accommodating the chosen guest amenities.

What the next year will demonstrate

The latest INACE coverage signals that the yard intends to compete more visibly in an international explorer-yacht market populated by established Dutch, Italian and Turkish builders. The four-project pipeline provides evidence of ongoing activity, while a renewed sales network offers a route to customers whose main cruising grounds may be thousands of miles from Fortaleza.

Future assessment should be grounded in actual deliveries, trials, workmanship, crew feedback and the effectiveness of support overseas. The confirmed October story is a Brazilian builder publicising its current new-build programme and international aspirations; delivery dates and performance remain subject to the contracts and testing of individual yachts.
