Numarine will stage the world premiere of the 26.97m 27XP at Cannes 2026 alongside the 39.42m 40MXP’s European debut. The Turkish builder will show both explorer models as part of a four-yacht Pantiero display.
Numarine will bring the 26.97-metre 27XP to the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 for its world premiere, while the 39.42-metre 40MXP will make its European debut at the same event. The two premieres place opposite ends of Numarine’s current explorer range side by side, from a composite 150GT platform to a 379GT flagship designed for substantially longer passages and greater onboard volume.
Numarine’s current Cannes programme lists four explorers on the Pantiero from 8 to 13 September: the 27XP, 30XP, 37XP and 40MXP, with the builder operating from berths PAN001 and PAN101. For the two debuting models, Cannes becomes the first European opportunity to compare how the same explorer philosophy changes as length, construction, range and accommodation increase.
The 27XP reaches its public world premiere with commercial momentum already behind it. Numarine says five units have been sold, the first yacht has been delivered and three hulls are currently under construction, while the first owner is a repeat client moving up from a 22XP.
The 26.97-metre yacht has an international gross tonnage of 150GT and is offered with four- or five-cabin guest layouts. Can Yalman designed the yacht inside and out, Umberto Tagliavini developed the naval architecture, and the first hull combines twin MAN 560 engines with a stated 13.5-knot maximum speed and a 2,200-nautical-mile range at eight knots.
The 27XP also introduces Numarine’s Mk2 Super Silent Pack, developed with Sleipner around a 48-volt electrical architecture. The system combines a 92.8kWh lithium iron phosphate battery bank, 5.6kW of solar generation, shore power and intelligent load management, giving the yacht a way to reduce generator dependence during lower-load periods.
That system is particularly relevant at this size because the 27XP is intended to combine genuine explorer capability with a platform that remains manageable below 27 metres. The engineering emphasis is therefore not simply on extending range, but on making time at anchor quieter and more efficient without forcing the owner into the complexity and crewing requirements of a much larger yacht.
The 40MXP approaches the explorer brief from a substantially larger platform, measuring 39.42 metres with 379GT of internal volume. Numarine lists accommodation for 12 guests, a 6,000-nautical-mile range at eight knots and standard twin MAN 800hp diesels, while the stern is organised around a water-level beach club intended to make outdoor living central to the yacht’s Mediterranean use.
The Cannes-bound 40MXP also demonstrates how individual owners can change that platform. Numarine says this yacht replaces the usual upper-deck crane and tender area with a second pool, creating another outdoor social zone above the beach club and showing how the model’s long-range engineering can be combined with a more lifestyle-focused deck arrangement.
The contrast between the two premieres is therefore more useful than a simple comparison of yacht size. The 27XP uses composite construction, 150GT of volume and a 2,200-nautical-mile range to make explorer-style cruising accessible at a smaller scale, while the 40MXP moves into steel-hulled, transatlantic territory with 379GT and 6,000 nautical miles of published range.
Both models retain Numarine’s focus on practical long-distance cruising, but Cannes will allow visitors to judge how that idea changes between 26.97 and 39.42 metres. With the 27XP making its world premiere and the 40MXP its European debut, the Pantiero display gives the Turkish builder a concentrated opportunity to present both the entry point and the upper end of its current explorer proposition in one place.
