Palumbo Superyachts Reports 20 Yachts in Build and €1bn Order Book

Palumbo Superyachts says it has 20 yachts under construction and an order book valued at approximately €1 billion, according to a company statement reported on 16 September 2026. The figures offer a group-wide view of its building programme, distinct from individual yacht launch announcements.

The company says it has launched five yachts during 2026, spanning the Columbus and ISA brands. The order-book figure is the builder's stated estimate and has not been independently audited for this report.

Five launches across two brands

The builder names the 38-metre Columbus Atlantique Principessa Capricciosa, ISA Viper 130 Fast Naan, ISA GTO 70, 67-metre ISA Gran Turismo SEA RAIDER X and ISA Custom 80 BELITA among this year's launches. Superyacht Guide has reported separately on individual vessels, while the latest statement places those deliveries and launches within the wider production pipeline.

Palumbo says its construction portfolio combines composites, steel and aluminium, with carbon-fibre reinforcement used in some composite projects. The company describes bespoke designs in the 80–100-metre ISA Large Yacht Collection as being developed around each owner's requirements rather than fixed production specifications.

Additional capacity at Ortona

The group reports acquiring a production site at Ortona and additional areas within the port of Ancona, expanding beyond its existing activities. It expects the Ortona facility to become operational in 2027, concentrating principally on larger steel-and-aluminium projects for ISA Yachts and Columbus Yachts.

The 2027 opening is a company schedule rather than a completed operating milestone, and the statement does not specify how many additional yachts the site will deliver annually. Palumbo says the investment is intended to increase capacity and give greater flexibility in the management of large builds.

What the order book means for owners

A 20-yacht pipeline spanning multiple sizes and materials illustrates the scale of yard scheduling and supplier coordination involved in Palumbo's programme. For buyers, the disclosed count provides a snapshot of construction commitments but does not itself establish individual project progress or guaranteed delivery dates.

The company also highlights its Atelier operation for maintenance, conversion and lifecycle support, alongside an art-advisory service for owners. These services extend the group's relationship with clients beyond construction, but they are distinct from the reported €1-billion new-build order book.
