Significant Development at Turquoise PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release Further Requests: aysecan@turquoiseyachts.com June 16, 2023 Dear Turquoise Esteemed Partner, As our esteemed part of Turquoise Family, it gives me immense pleasure to share a significant development at Turquoise. Following MB’s participation in Turquoise Yachts since 2014, our legacy founding partners- Mehmet Karabeyoğlu and Necdet Salgür - have decided to take a step back to pursue other personal interests to enjoy life beyond Turquoise and pass the torch to MB Group by graciously stepping down from management and their shareholding. The legacy of the original founding partners is something we take seriously and it is our humble honour and responsibility to keep performing above expectations of each of our partners and supporters as we move forward with you. We are deeply grateful to them both for the vision with which they guided Turquoise, both prior to and during our joint tenure – their contribution has been in calculable. At this time, it is right and proper that we also honour the memory of the third of the original team, the late Hayati Khamhi. As they leave us Mehmet reflects on a superyacht building career which has brought the work to Turkey “When we cut the first steel on our very first Turquoise, no one knew the journey would bring us here. The fleet that has left our slipways is a testament not just of those who started the journey with us, but to all of those in our superyacht world who have trusted us time and again”. Necdet added“ I have may have been the quiet one of the trio, but my pride in what we have achieved is loud and noisy as it could possibly be. We built a castle on the sea that will be here for years to come.” As we will build on the many strengths within the Turquoise Team And are thankful for the privilege of completing our investment in Turquoise, expanding our holdings in the Yacht building industry to complement our strategy of fostering excellence and value generation – for all stakeholders. They will guide our transition- with your close cooperation - moving forward in this new era of Turquoise Yachts.
