Lürssen will present the 102.4m NIXIE at Monaco Yacht Show 2026, marking the RWD-designed yacht’s global public debut after her June delivery.

Lürssen will present the 102.4-metre NIXIE at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, giving the yacht her global public debut following delivery in June. The German shipyard says NIXIE will be berthed at R03 during the show, which runs from 23 to 26 September.

The appearance is significant even by Monaco standards. NIXIE is one of six Lürssen deliveries completed in 2026, a record new-build year for the yard, and her show debut will put one of the largest new yachts of the season directly in front of owners, brokers, designers and the wider industry.

A 102.4-metre RWD design

NIXIE was previously known as Project JASSJ and was designed inside and out by RWD. Lürssen describes the yacht as combining expansive social areas with a notably private owner experience, with exterior lines shaped around broad convex forms and large areas of structural glazing.

A defining feature is the waterside area. Four sea terraces and the transom hatch sit flush with the teak deck to create around 270 square metres of beach-club space, making it one of the largest beach clubs Lürssen has installed on a yacht to date.

Diesel-electric propulsion with energy storage

Below deck, NIXIE uses a diesel-electric propulsion architecture supported by an advanced energy-storage system. Lürssen says the arrangement is intended to improve efficiency across a range of operating profiles while also reducing noise and vibration for guests.

The yacht also carries a semi-suspended glass swimming pool above the beach-club area. Together with the extensive glazing and opening terraces, the design places a strong emphasis on uninterrupted views and a direct connection between the interior, exterior decks and sea.

Part of a record Lürssen delivery year

NIXIE left the yard on her maiden voyage in late June and was identified by Lürssen as its sixth delivery of 2026. That output makes this an unusually important Monaco Yacht Show for the builder because several other yachts delivered during the year will also be represented through models at the Lürssen stand.

For the market, the Monaco debut offers the first major public opportunity to assess how the yacht's technical package and large-scale beach club translate from design descriptions into a finished vessel. It also places NIXIE among the most prominent new-build arrivals expected at Port Hercule this year.

Lürssen says its team will be based at stand JS8 throughout the show, while NIXIE will be displayed at berth R03. The shipyard's Monaco presence will therefore combine a full-size new delivery with models representing other 2026 projects rather than relying solely on concept displays.

NIXIE is also expected to enter charter operation through Edmiston as central charter agent. Her Monaco appearance should provide an early benchmark for interest in a yacht that combines 100-metre-plus scale with unusually large waterside living areas and a modern diesel-electric technical platform.
