LAUNCHES THE THIRD DARWIN CLASS 102’ M/Y GALEGO 27.04.2017 LAUNCHES THE THIRD DARWIN CLASS 102’ M/Y GALEGO The Italian Shipyard opens the 2017 Season with the first launch of the year. The new Explorer Yacht will be officially presented at the next Cannes Yacht Show. It is called M/Y Galego , the new Explorer Yacht of the renowned Darwin Class fleet that was christened last Saturday in Ancona. The yacht built in steel and aluminium, as every vessel made by CdM and engineered by Hydro Tec as the naval architecture, is the third boat of the 102’ feet explorer yacht, after M/Y ACALA and M/Y BABBO: a confirmation of the Darwin Class line’s success, which in only 6 years from the launch. Together with the CdM Nauta Air range, these Classes have have pushed the shipyard into a dominant position, representing approximately 60% of the 80- to 110-foot steel and aluminum Explorer Yacht market. To date, CdM already delivered 14 yachts and has 7 yachts under construction from 102 to 140 feet, for a total of 789 new feet that will navigate all around the world in complete safety and autonomy.
