Fraser has added the 25m Viking sportfisher DOC Z to its charter fleet, with the yacht available independently or alongside 52m LADY B for tandem charters.
Fraser has added the 24.99-metre Viking sportfishing yacht DOC Z to its charter fleet, positioning the high-performance yacht both as an independent charter option and as a specialist companion to the 52-metre Benetti LADY B. Built by Viking Yachts in 2010 and extensively refitted in 2025, DOC Z combines a 35-knot maximum speed with a purpose-built sportfishing programme.
Fraser announced her arrival in the fleet on 26 August 2026, with summer chartering in New England and winter cruising across The Bahamas, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Panama. DOC Z is offered from $65,000 per week as a standalone charter, while Fraser lists a special $50,000-per-week rate when she is booked in tandem with LADY B.
DOC Z is powered by twin 2,400hp MTU engines and cruises at approximately 24 knots, giving her the speed to cover substantial distances between fishing grounds, anchorages and cruising areas. A Seakeeper stabiliser is fitted to improve comfort while operating offshore or waiting over productive fishing grounds.
Her equipment moves well beyond recreational rods carried on a conventional charter yacht. Fraser lists an OMNI sonar, dedicated rod room and extensive tackle for marlin, sailfish, swordfish, tuna, wahoo, deep dropping, live-bait fishing and inshore work, together with dedicated spearfishing equipment.
At 24.99 metres and 105 GT, DOC Z sits close to the lower boundary of the superyacht market, but her programme is unusually specialised for a yacht of her size. She accommodates up to six sleeping guests in three principal staterooms, while an additional twin stateroom can be made available depending on the crew configuration, and she carries a crew of two.
Two additional boats broaden that operating envelope further, with a 25-foot Contender supporting offshore fishing and fast transfers and an 18-foot Egret flats boat giving guests access to shallower coastal waters. The arrangement allows DOC Z to work across offshore and inshore fishing environments without compromising the yacht's principal sportfishing role.
The more unusual part of DOC Z's programme is her role within the wider LADY B fleet. She can be chartered alongside the 52-metre Benetti LADY B, creating a two-yacht package capable of accommodating up to 17 guests while separating the specialist fishing operation from the larger yacht's primary luxury-cruising programme.
LADY B herself accommodates 11 sleeping guests and carries an extensive inventory of tenders and water toys, including a 53-foot HCB tender, jet skis, kayaks, paddleboards, SEABOBs and scuba equipment. Adding DOC Z gives the programme a dedicated fast sportfishing platform rather than requiring the mothership and her crew to adapt the main yacht around specialist fishing activity.
Support vessels are already familiar at the upper end of superyachting, particularly where owners want to carry helicopters, large tenders, submarines or extensive watersports equipment without compromising guest areas aboard the principal yacht. DOC Z applies a similar principle at a smaller scale, with the secondary yacht focused on speed, fishing and access to operating environments that the larger yacht does not need to follow.
For charter guests, that division can be practical because a fishing party can leave early for offshore grounds aboard DOC Z while other guests remain aboard LADY B, with the two programmes reconnecting later. DOC Z therefore remains a standalone 25-metre sportfisher available in her own right, but pairing her with LADY B creates a broader cruising and adventure package than either yacht provides independently.
