IYC has added the 26m Troy Marine explorer TROYWIZARD to its sales fleet, highlighting an 8,500nm range and exceptionally low engine hours.

IYC has welcomed the 26-metre Troy Marine explorer yacht TROYWIZARD to its global sales fleet. The trawler-style yacht is presented as a long-range cruising platform with an 8,500-nautical-mile range, accommodation for six guests in three cabins and unusually low recorded engine hours, with 19 hours on the port engine and 18 on the starboard engine as of September 2026.

An 8,500-nautical-mile range defines the explorer brief

TROYWIZARD is built around self-sufficient long-range operation rather than high speed. IYC quotes an 8,500-nautical-mile range, giving the yacht the endurance needed for extended passages and cruising programmes well beyond the normal Mediterranean or Caribbean seasonal circuit.

That range is particularly notable at 26 metres, where fuel capacity, storage and machinery space compete directly with accommodation volume. The yacht’s trawler-style configuration prioritises endurance and practical operation over the larger entertainment spaces found on many contemporary yachts.

Engine hours remain exceptionally low

IYC reports just 19 hours on the port engine and 18 hours on the starboard engine as of September 2026. Such low figures are unusual for a long-range explorer and will make the reasons for the limited running, commissioning history and preservation programme important parts of a buyer’s technical due diligence.

Low hours can reduce wear, but they do not replace a detailed machinery inspection. Buyers will still need to examine service intervals, lay-up procedures, fluids, seals, generators, auxiliary systems and the yacht’s broader maintenance history before drawing conclusions about condition.

Three cabins support six guests with four crew

Accommodation is arranged for six guests across three cabins, supported by four crew. This relatively low guest count leaves more of the yacht’s available volume for storage, technical systems and communal spaces needed during longer voyages.

Outdoor areas include main-deck aft seating, a large bow seating area, upper-deck dining and dedicated sundeck spaces. The layout gives guests several separate exterior zones despite the yacht’s comparatively compact overall length.

Cruising systems are configured for self-sufficiency

Equipment highlighted by IYC includes a 150-litre-per-hour Idromar watermaker, Raymarine navigation electronics, CCTV and monitoring systems, a depth sounder and satellite/TURKSAT communications. These systems support the yacht’s intended role away from major marina infrastructure.

TROYWIZARD is represented for sale by IYC consultants Kutsal Coban and Rob Newton. For an owner prioritising range over maximum accommodation, the combination of compact size, long endurance and extensive onboard systems gives the yacht a distinctive position within the explorer brokerage market.
