Smart Yachts announces a €600,000 reduction on Extra Yachts UILIA, a 2019 Extra 93 with five guest suites, 238GT volume and three IPS engines.
Smart Yachts has announced a €600,000 cut to the asking price of UILIA, a 28.5-metre Extra Yachts motor yacht delivered in 2019. Extra belongs to the Palumbo Superyachts group, whose approach with this model prioritises accommodation volume and an outdoor relationship with the water within a sub-30-metre footprint.
The new announcement does not identify a completed sale, and any current asking figure should be obtained from the broker rather than inferred from the size of the reduction. The yacht's published VAT-paid status is another detail that requires examination against the specific ownership and transaction arrangements.
The Extra 93 is reported at approximately 238 gross tonnes, with a 7.5-metre beam and 2.2-metre draft. These numbers distinguish the vessel from narrower high-speed alternatives in the same length class. Francesco Guida is credited with the interior and exterior styling, while the builder developed the naval architecture.
Large windows bring daylight into a saloon arranged with loose seating and entertainment equipment that can be concealed when not needed. The owner's suite is placed forward on the main deck, with a lounge and working area. Four additional guest cabins sit on the lower deck, and space is allocated for five crew members including the captain.
Smart Yachts describes exterior dining suitable for up to twelve guests, together with loungers and seating on the upper deck. The sundeck offers separate areas for sunbathing and an open view around the vessel. These settings are relevant when a yacht is used as a floating home for extended periods rather than as a means of rapid point-to-point transport.
The yacht has three Volvo Penta IPS propulsion units, with a quoted cruising speed around twelve knots and top speed of approximately 17.5 knots. Buyers should obtain engine and pod service records, commissioning reports and actual fuel-consumption data, because the propulsion architecture creates maintenance demands distinct from those of conventional shaft drives.
A price adjustment can draw attention to a listing, but owners comparing UILIA with competing vessels should establish the condition of hull coatings, stabilisation, guest systems and tender arrangements before assessing value. Gross tonnage and cabin numbers convey only part of the space and operating complexity.
The confirmed development is the broker's revised sales position, not a new shipyard launch or contract for another Extra model. Survey findings, any warranty status and the applicable tax documentation remain essential parts of the buyer's decision.
