Fraser has listed the 33m Dutch-built LADY FLEUR, highlighting steel construction, a hydraulic aft-deck platform, ten guest berths and an advertised 2,400nm range.
Fraser has added the 33-metre LADY FLEUR to its international sales fleet, introducing a Dutch-built Holterman motor yacht aimed at owners interested in extended private cruising. The brokerage announced the appointment on 15 October and identifies Jan Jaap Minnema, Vassilis Fotilas and Quentin Bourgeois as the sales brokers.
The seller is offering an existing, individual yacht rather than a new production series or a future construction slot. That distinction matters because purchasers can assess the vessel actually available, including the machinery installation, accommodation arrangement and recorded condition.
Fraser describes the yacht as combining robust steel construction with a practical layout that supports both family holidays and longer passages. As ever, the builder’s reputation and broker’s claims are useful starting points, not substitutes for full technical and legal due diligence.
The centrepiece of the broker’s announcement is a distinctive hydraulic platform incorporated into the main aft deck. This arrangement is intended to provide more flexible access between the yacht and the water, a detail that can influence how guests board tenders, swim or spend time at anchor.
Potential buyers should examine the platform’s actual load capacity, mechanical condition and permitted operating modes rather than judging the arrangement from photographs alone. Hydraulic equipment near the sea requires appropriate inspections, safe working procedures and a maintenance record that addresses corrosion and other environmental exposure.
For guests, the versatility of an aft-deck platform is likely to be most valuable when the surrounding deck is organised around straightforward circulation. An onboard inspection should show whether the platform works comfortably alongside the tender arrangements and the yacht’s normal mooring procedures.
Fraser states an advertised range of approximately 2,400 nautical miles and guest accommodation for ten people. The range figure is an operational claim tied to conditions that should be verified against tank capacities, speed, engine consumption and the actual specification of the vessel.
A yacht able to make longer passages can give a family more flexibility over seasonal itineraries and less dependence on frequent fuel stops. That benefit is strongest when the owner and captain also account for weather, reserves, crew endurance, planned maintenance and the ability to provision at remote destinations.
Ten guest berths create opportunities for multi-generational holidays or travel with friends, but the number of berths is only one element of onboard comfort. Buyers should examine privacy, crew access, cabin storage and the separation of guest activities from necessary working operations.
Fraser has not presented the announcement as a completed sale, and the offering remains subject to confirmation of its current terms and availability. Anyone evaluating LADY FLEUR should request an up-to-date specification, a full inventory, survey access and clarity over the vessel’s flag and tax position.
Construction in steel brings advantages and responsibilities of its own, particularly with respect to protective coatings, tank inspection and long-term corrosion management. A specialist survey can assess matters that are not visible through the layout or marketing photography.
The listing broadens the selection of Dutch-built yachts in this size class and may appeal to a buyer prioritising the journey as much as the destination. The eventual decision should rest on the condition and suitability of this individual yacht rather than on published range or accommodation figures alone.
