The 38-metre Westport W125 Seas the Day has joined the sales market at $26.75 million with five cabins and a reported 2,500-nautical-mile range.
The 38-metre Westport W125 Seas the Day has joined the sales market at an asking price of $26.75 million. Delivered in 2023, the yacht is a relatively recent example of the American builder’s W125 platform and has an internal volume of approximately 333 GT.
Westport handled the exterior design and naval architecture, while the interior is by Holly Hunt. The arrangement uses a light contemporary palette and large windows, with the main saloon combining lounge and dining areas within an open-plan guest space.
Seas the Day accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, with the owner’s suite positioned on the main deck and the remaining accommodation below. Three double cabins and a twin provide flexibility, while Pullman berths add capacity when required.
The exterior is distributed across several levels, with the sundeck forming a principal entertainment area. The yacht’s 7.98-metre beam gives the W125 substantial usable volume while a 1.9-metre draft supports access to cruising grounds where deeper-displacement yachts may be more restricted.
Twin MTU 16V2000 M96L engines produce 2,600hp each, delivering a reported top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed around 20 knots. At a reduced 12-knot passage speed, the yacht is quoted with a maximum range of about 2,500 nautical miles supported by fuel capacity of roughly 26,743 litres.
That combination gives Seas the Day both faster coastal performance and a more economical long-range mode. For buyers looking at recent American-built yachts, the asking price provides a benchmark against new-build lead times and the cost of ordering a comparable high-volume W125 today.
