The 39m Ada Yacht Works sailing yacht LE PIETRE is now asking €3.65 million after a €340,000 reduction, following refit and maintenance work.
Northrop & Johnson has announced a €340,000 price reduction for the 39-metre Ada Yacht Works sailing yacht LE PIETRE, bringing the current asking price to €3.65 million. The classic custom sailing yacht is represented by Monty Batt from the brokerage’s Monaco office and Ugur Sahin in Turkey, with the latest adjustment following substantial refit work and continued technical maintenance.
LE PIETRE has been offered through Northrop & Johnson at progressively revised pricing as the brokerage tests the market for a classic 39-metre sailing yacht with charter-class credentials. The latest €340,000 reduction moves the yacht to €3.65 million and represents a further step down from the €3.99 million level announced earlier in 2026.
Price changes of this kind are useful market signals because they show how sellers are responding to buyer activity rather than simply adding new inventory. The reduction also comes after work intended to keep the yacht technically current rather than deferring maintenance to a future owner.
Northrop & Johnson says the 2024 refit included new teak decks, an upgraded engine room and completion of a two-year RINA survey. Additional work through winter 2025–2026 included servicing the main engines and generators, refurbishment of air-conditioning units, diesel-tank cleaning, replacement of twelve stationary batteries and maintenance of onboard pumps.
The yacht has also continued annual dry-dock maintenance and survey work. That history is important for buyers assessing an older custom sailing yacht, where technical condition, class status and maintenance documentation can matter as much as cosmetic presentation.
LE PIETRE accommodates eight guests in four ensuite cabins, including forward and aft master cabins, a VIP and a twin. The interior by Hale Doke uses warm wood finishes, large salon windows and an eight-person dining table, while the aft master adds a lounge area and desk that can function as a private workspace.
Outdoor areas include shaded aft dining for eight and a forward U-shaped lounge with a convertible table that can accommodate up to twelve guests. A hydraulic stern passerelle provides water access, supporting a layout designed around relaxed cruising rather than high-speed operation.
The yacht is RINA Charter Class and is powered by twin 455 hp Cummins engines for a reported 10-knot cruising speed and 12-knot maximum speed. Northrop & Johnson quotes an approximate 850-nautical-mile range at an economical 8.5 knots under power.
Her sailing inventory includes an aluminium mast and boom, four sails and Harken powered winches. At the revised asking price, the proposition combines classic sailing character, recent technical investment and commercial-class flexibility in a segment where well-maintained larger sailing yachts represent a relatively specialised part of the brokerage market.
