IYC has added the 40.4m Ocean King explorer OCEAN ANGEL to its global charter fleet, bringing a recently delivered long-range yacht to the West Mediterranean market.
IYC has added the 40.4-metre Ocean King explorer yacht OCEAN ANGEL to its global charter fleet, with the recently delivered yacht offered from €195,000 per week plus expenses. The brokerage announced the appointment on 24 August 2026, placing the 2025-built explorer into its current West Mediterranean charter programme.
OCEAN ANGEL is the second DOGE 400 built by Ocean King and combines a commercial-vessel-inspired steel explorer platform with contemporary Italian yacht design. IYC presents the yacht as a long-range charter option with a 4,000-nautical-mile capability, substantial wellness spaces and accommodation for up to 10 guests.
Ocean King's official technical profile lists an overall length of 40.38 metres, an 8.50-metre beam and 428GT of internal volume. The full-displacement yacht uses an AH36 high-strength steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with RINA classification for unrestricted navigation supporting a programme intended to extend beyond short coastal cruising.
Twin Caterpillar C32 V12 engines produce 1,450hp each and drive conventional shaft lines, giving OCEAN ANGEL a stated maximum speed of 15 knots and cruising speed of 13 knots. Ocean King lists a 4,000-nautical-mile range at 10 knots together with 50,000 litres of fuel capacity, reinforcing the DOGE 400's long-range explorer brief.
IYC's charter announcement says OCEAN ANGEL accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, while Ocean King's own technical profile also lists five guest cabins. The interior was developed by BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design, with the builder describing a restrained contemporary approach intended to connect interior and exterior spaces throughout the yacht.
Large areas of glazing bring natural light into the accommodation and maintain views toward the sea, while the yacht's volume allows the charter programme to place equal emphasis on private living areas and communal spaces. For guests spending longer periods aboard, that combination of interior volume and expedition-oriented technical capacity broadens the yacht's use beyond a conventional week of resort-to-resort cruising.
The beach club is one of OCEAN ANGEL's defining spaces, incorporating a sauna, hammam and compact gym directly beside the water. Ocean King also designed the area with a 1.2-ton telescopic crane integrated into the ceiling, allowing it to support tender handling as well as guest wellness and leisure functions.
A large custom pool at the stern and a Jacuzzi on the sun deck add further outdoor leisure space, while IYC highlights live teppanyaki dining on the sundeck as part of the current charter presentation. Fold-down balconies and extensive exterior lounging areas reinforce the emphasis on spending time close to the water when the yacht is at anchor.
Ocean King delivered OCEAN ANGEL in 2025, after which the yacht began cruising in the Mediterranean before later undertaking longer passages that demonstrated the operating ambitions behind the DOGE 400 platform. Her addition to IYC's fleet now makes that recently delivered explorer available to charter clients rather than limiting the yacht to private use.

The appointment adds a comparatively new 40-metre steel explorer to the brokerage's charter offering, combining long-range capability with the wellness, outdoor living and service features expected from a modern Mediterranean charter yacht.
