44.3m Vitters MAGIC Offered for Sale at €41.9 Million

Burgess is offering the 44.3-metre sailing yacht MAGIC for sale at €41.9 million, bringing a recently delivered Vitters fast-cruising sloop to the brokerage market. Built in 2025 to Lloyd's classification, the yacht combines a performance-oriented sailing platform with 308GT of interior volume and accommodation for 10 guests.

MAGIC is a useful example of the premium now attached to large sailing yachts that combine composite and sailing technology with the finish expected from a custom Dutch build. Her age also means buyers can assess a yacht already commissioned and operating rather than waiting through the design, construction and sea-trial stages of a new project.

Reichel Pugh shapes the performance platform

Exterior design and naval architecture are by Reichel Pugh Design, giving MAGIC the low-profile lines and sailing proportions associated with high-performance cruising yachts. Burgess lists a cruising speed of nine knots under engine, a maximum of 12 knots and a 3,000-nautical-mile range at the quoted cruising speed.

The yacht's sailing credentials are balanced by a deck arrangement intended for guest use in a wide range of conditions. A covered main cockpit provides protected outdoor dining and lounging, while the transom opens to form a beach-club area close to the water.

Five cabins sit within a 308GT interior

Design Unlimited and Pieter Laureys created the interiors, with five cabins accommodating up to 10 guests. The full-beam owner's suite is positioned aft and includes an en-suite bathroom, separate wardrobes and an office, while the remaining guest accommodation is distributed around the machinery spaces.

The 308GT figure is notable for a yacht whose design still prioritises sailing performance and deck handling. Larger interior volume can improve owner comfort, but on a sailing yacht it has to be balanced against weight, hull form, rig geometry and the practical requirements of operating the yacht under sail.

The €41.9m price tests demand for a nearly new sailing yacht

Large custom sailing yachts appear on the brokerage market less frequently than comparable motor yachts, so public asking prices can be valuable reference points even before a sale occurs. MAGIC's €41.9 million ask gives buyers a current benchmark for a 2025 Vitters with a recognised design pedigree and little elapsed time since delivery.

As with any nearly new yacht, buyers will still want to understand commissioning history, warranty status, sail inventory and the operating experience accumulated during the first season. If the yacht sells, the transaction will help show how strongly the market values immediate availability compared with ordering a new high-performance sailing yacht from a leading custom yard.
