A 55-metre Amels returns to the sales market

Burgess has announced the sale listing of NOMAD, the 55-metre Amels delivered in 2019, with an asking price of €36,450,000. Its 26 October announcement also identifies the yacht as a planned participant at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, giving prospective buyers an opportunity to arrange an inspection around the Florida event.

The blue-hulled motor yacht belongs to the Amels 180 Limited Editions family. Tim Heywood designed the exterior, while Bonesteel Trout Hall is credited with the interiors; the brokerage material presents a yacht configured for family use rather than a single uniform guest-cabin arrangement.

A flexible accommodation plan and substantial outdoor living

The published layout accommodates up to 14 guests in six cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite with a fold-down balcony. Guest spaces include double cabins, a convertible twin and a bunk-bed cabin, making the exact allocation of accommodation an important part of a buyer’s assessment.

The broker also describes a sky lounge, beach-club wellness facilities and a sun deck equipped for outdoor entertaining. These are listing particulars, not independently tested performance claims, and the condition and operating status of individual facilities remain matters for inspection and the yacht’s technical documentation.

Inspection plans around Fort Lauderdale

Twin MTU engines and a published cruising speed of 13 knots sit behind the yacht’s long-distance cruising proposition. Burgess quotes a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles, a figure that should be considered with its operating assumptions rather than treated as a guarantee for every load, speed or sea condition.

The asking price is a seller’s market position, not a disclosed transaction value. Interested parties can review the current Burgess listing and the Fort Lauderdale show record before coordinating a viewing with the appointed broker.
