74m Amels SYNTHESIS Offered at €132m After 2026 Survey and Refit

Burgess is offering the 74-metre SYNTHESIS for sale at €132 million following a substantial period of recent upgrades. Delivered by Amels in 2021, the yacht returned to the builder during 2025–26 for work that included her five-year special survey and a full exterior repaint.

The sale brings a 1,790GT yacht to market with much of the expensive survey-cycle work already addressed close to the start of the brokerage campaign. That does not remove the need for a buyer's own survey, but it changes the due-diligence context compared with a yacht approaching a major class milestone with significant work still ahead.

Recent yard work adds substance to the sales proposition

Burgess records earlier upgrades at Oceanco in 2023 followed by the 2025–26 Amels programme, creating a documented sequence of investment since delivery. The latter yard period included the five-year special survey and full exterior repaint, two items that can require substantial planning, labour and downtime on a yacht of this scale.

For prospective buyers, the value of that work depends on the detailed scope, class documentation and condition found during inspection rather than the headline alone. Even so, a recently completed survey cycle can simplify planning during the early years of ownership and make future maintenance forecasts more predictable.

1,790GT gives the yacht substantial interior volume

SYNTHESIS combines Tim Heywood exterior design with interiors by Winch Design, creating a yacht whose 1,790GT volume is a defining part of the specification. The arrangement accommodates 14 guests in six cabins and distributes dining and entertaining spaces across several decks rather than concentrating them in a single formal area.

The interior uses materials including satin ivory oak and stone finishes, while large windows bring natural light into the guest spaces. The result is a residential arrangement intended for longer stays aboard, with the volume allowing distinct social zones and private areas to coexist without making the yacht feel compartmentalised.

€132m becomes another reference point in the 70m market

Recent 70-metre-plus yachts are comparatively rare on the open brokerage market, particularly when they combine a recognised northern-European builder with a recent major survey. SYNTHESIS therefore gives buyers a current alternative to lengthy new-build programmes while also creating a public price reference for the Amels 242 platform.

The eventual sale price will matter more than the initial €132 million ask when judging market value, especially after brokerage negotiations and survey findings are taken into account. Until then, the listing shows how recent refit expenditure and completed class work are being used to position a four-year-old yacht in a highly selective segment.
