Bilgin Yachts’ second 52-metre Bilgin 170, Ada, has completed her first Mediterranean season following delivery earlier in 2026. The yacht cruised through the Aegean and wider Mediterranean after entering service at the start of the summer.
Ada was launched in Antalya in December 2025 as hull NB83 and follows Tamasha, the first yacht in the Bilgin 170 series. The steel-and-aluminium platform is rated at 499 GT and was developed as a semi-custom long-range yacht with substantial outdoor areas.
Exterior styling and naval architecture are by Unique Yacht Design, while Hot Lab created the interior. Although Ada shares the underlying platform with her sistership, the series allows owners to differentiate finishes and details rather than reproducing an identical yacht.
Bilgin says features that began as individual requests have migrated into the standard platform as the series has developed. That approach can shorten design and engineering work on later hulls while preserving enough flexibility for each owner to create a distinct interior and operating brief.
A fourth Bilgin 170 hull has already been sold for delivery in 2027, showing continued demand for the sub-500GT platform. At the same time, the shipyard is advancing larger custom projects including the 82-metre Project Bond.
Ada’s first season provides the most useful test of the design because it moves the yacht beyond drawings, construction and sea trials into regular owner use. The operating experience gathered from early hulls can feed directly into later yachts in the series and into the yard’s wider semi-custom programme.
