71.5m Feadship VANISH Offered for Sale at €148 Million

Burgess is offering the 71.5-metre VANISH for sale at €148 million, placing one of Feadship's larger recent deliveries on the brokerage market. Built by Royal Van Lent in 2021, the yacht accommodates 14 guests in seven cabins and combines a large-volume interior with exterior spaces designed for aviation, entertaining and long periods aboard.

The current asking price puts VANISH firmly in the upper tier of the brokerage market, where relatively recent northern-European builds are scarce. Buyers at this level are comparing not only size and age but also delivery timing, custom design, technical specification and the years required to reproduce a yacht of similar complexity as a new build.

Seven cabins are arranged within a 71.5-metre platform

VANISH was designed with exterior styling by Harrison Eidsgaard and naval architecture from De Voogt Naval Architects. The accommodation provides seven guest cabins for up to 14 people, giving the yacht a relatively high guest count while remaining within the usual private-yacht operational framework.

The interior is organised around a dramatic multi-deck atrium that connects the principal guest areas vertically. Large glazed areas and broad exterior decks support the sense of scale, while the arrangement gives the yacht several distinct social areas rather than relying on one main saloon and one exterior lounge.

Helicopter capability is part of the yacht's operating profile

Two deck areas are designed to support helicopter operations, giving VANISH a level of aviation flexibility more commonly associated with much larger expedition yachts. That capability can shorten transfers and expand itinerary options, although actual helicopter use always depends on aircraft type, operational approvals, crew procedures and the rules of the jurisdiction in which the yacht is operating.

The aviation provision is paired with the broader deck plan rather than dominating it, allowing the same exterior areas to serve guest functions when not being used operationally. That dual-purpose approach is valuable on a yacht where every large open deck competes with pools, lounges, tenders and other owner requirements.

The €148m ask provides a benchmark for recent Feadships

Brokerage transactions at this size are infrequent enough that each public asking price becomes a useful market reference, particularly for yachts delivered within the past five years. VANISH therefore provides a comparison point for owners considering whether to buy an existing Feadship or enter a new-build programme with a much longer lead time.

The asking price is not the same as an eventual transaction value, and any buyer would still need to examine survey condition, machinery history, class status and the complete operating record. The sale outcome, if disclosed, will be the more useful measure of where the market currently values a 2021 Feadship of this scale.
