Acquera Yachting says its international network now spans 25 countries after opening a new office in Malta and another directly operated location in Turkey.
Acquera Yachting says its operational network now extends across 25 countries following further international expansion in 2026. The yacht agency has opened a new office in Malta and added another directly operated office in Turkey, developments it is highlighting during the Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
The growth reflects the increasing value of agency networks that can support a yacht across several jurisdictions without requiring the captain or manager to rebuild local relationships at every stop. Customs, port formalities, provisioning, logistics, guest arrangements and local compliance can all become easier when information is coordinated across a common operating network.
Both Malta and Turkey sit on major Mediterranean cruising and service routes, but the operational requirements in each market are different. Adding local offices gives Acquera direct personnel on the ground rather than relying entirely on external partners for port calls and owner support.
That can be particularly valuable for yachts moving between charter, private use and shipyard periods during the same season. Continuity between offices can reduce duplicated paperwork and give managers a clearer escalation path when a time-sensitive local issue arises.
Acquera's expansion also includes the recent acquisition of Wilsonhalligan, the international yacht-recruitment business. The move broadens the group's service base into crew recruitment while allowing Wilsonhalligan to continue under its existing management structure.
This kind of consolidation reflects a wider trend in yacht services, where owners and managers increasingly buy several support functions from the same group. The advantage can be simpler coordination, although clients will still judge each service line on local expertise and the quality of delivery rather than on network size alone.
Acquera is using Monaco to bring together representatives from its Mediterranean and Caribbean operations ahead of the next seasonal transition. That timing allows the group to coordinate clients moving from European cruising into Atlantic and Caribbean programmes.
For captains and yacht managers, the practical value of a 25-country network will be measured in response times, reliable local knowledge and consistent handling of complex port calls. The new Malta and Turkey offices extend the geographic footprint, but operational performance will determine how much value the scale ultimately creates.
