Grand Ocean Yachts has delivered its largest motor yacht yet, the 34m all-aluminium MOTU, with ACR Yachts exterior design and a custom interior by StepOnBoard.
Grand Ocean Yachts has delivered the 34-metre motor yacht MOTU, a custom aluminium vessel completed in Brazil after a launch earlier in 2026. The delivery marks a size milestone for the builder, which describes MOTU as the largest yacht constructed by the company to date.
The vessel has an angular exterior by ACR Yachts and an interior by Keity Ciccacio and Rafael Ribeiro, the founders of StepOnBoard. The design is an individual commission, and its specification should not be mistaken for a series of production models available for immediate order.
Delivery was reported on 29 September, and more complete technical information is still awaited. This distinction matters for owners comparing delivered custom yachts because the available images reveal a great deal about the spaces but not every aspect of mechanical performance or long-range capability.
MOTU has an aluminium hull and superstructure, with a semi-displacement hull form. The construction approach supports the vessel’s sharp-edged profile and generous glazing while allowing an exterior that looks markedly different from a traditionally styled trideck motor yacht.
ACR Yachts combined sculpted surfaces, dark window bands and broad aft and forward deck areas to give the yacht a contemporary appearance. Buyers should not infer actual stability, fuel efficiency or structural weight from the appearance alone, since naval architecture and equipment choices determine those qualities.
The builder reports fuel capacity of approximately 19,000 litres, but has not yet disclosed full engine specifications, cruising speed or confirmed range figures in the published material. Any use of a numerical cruising range would therefore be speculative until the yard releases an authenticated technical specification.
Guests entering through the main aft deck encounter an interior saloon organised around a lounge and entertainment facilities. A dedicated dining area further forward is reported to seat ten people, establishing a formal social centre independent of exterior dining spaces.
On the outside, an aft main-deck dining position is supplemented by a separate foredeck lounge. The flybridge adds a bar and further seating, giving guests different places to congregate as the yacht changes course or the sun moves through the day.
This distribution can suit a family expecting to spend long periods aboard, with one group using the exterior decks while another relaxes indoors. The actual usability of these areas will depend on access, shade, service routes and appropriate safety precautions while under way.
StepOnBoard’s interior places the owner’s suite forward on the main deck, separated from the main saloon and dining area. This position can provide a degree of privacy for an owner travelling with other guests, though the exact level of isolation depends on the completed arrangement and crew routes.
The large windows apparent in the saloon and external profile are central to the yacht’s aesthetic, connecting the light-filled interior with the surrounding water. The detailed configuration of remaining guest cabins and total overnight accommodation has not yet been confirmed in the public delivery reporting.
MOTU is notable as evidence of the capability of a Brazilian custom yard to build an all-aluminium motor yacht above thirty metres. Its subsequent operational record and a verified technical specification will provide the stronger basis for judging the vessel’s range, performance and suitability for extended cruising.
