30m Blaundus EBYSHINE Now Advertised at €6.9 Million
Burgess’s current sale list advertises the 30m Blaundus EBYSHINE at €6.9m, a further reduction from the €7.9m price publicised in August.
Burgess has taken a central-agency appointment for the 31.4m Azimut AMICA, asking $5m and planning a Fort Lauderdale Boat Show display.
Burgess has been appointed exclusive central agent for the sale of AMICA, a 31.4-metre Azimut built in 2008. The brokerage announced an asking price of US$5 million on 26 October, bringing a fast Italian motor yacht into focus as the Fort Lauderdale show opens.
AMICA should not be confused with similarly named yachts in a different size class. This particular Azimut measures 31.4 metres and is marketed for her speed, contemporary profile and useful combination of indoor and outdoor guest areas.
The appointment is significant as a fresh sales mandate, but the announced asking price does not establish the yacht's eventual selling price. Buyers will still need current build documentation, an exact equipment inventory and independent condition advice before assessing value.
The broker describes guest circulation over three decks, with the main deck anchoring the shared living spaces. Large glazed areas and forward sunpads create a design that prioritises the cruising experience and visual connection to the water.
Above, the sun deck incorporates a jacuzzi alongside relaxed seating and outside dining possibilities. That mix is characteristic of a yacht intended to move easily between family use, hosting and leisure without asking guests to occupy one fixed entertaining area all day.
A prospective owner should nevertheless evaluate the actual distribution of shade, service stations and safe access routes. The value of a large open deck depends on how well it functions in the heat, in rain and while underway, not solely on how it appears in promotional photography.
AMICA is advertised with sleeping accommodation for ten guests in five cabins. The mix includes a master suite and both double and twin arrangements, allowing the vessel to adapt to families or several couples travelling together.
Cabin count is only the starting point for a use-case assessment. Bathroom arrangements, storage, noise isolation, crew routes and the comfort of shared living rooms all influence whether a yacht is suitable for short social trips or extended cruising periods.
Because the boat dates from 2008, buyers should establish which soft furnishings and technical systems are original, replaced or upgraded. A documented maintenance record carries more weight than an unsupported claim of immaculate presentation.
According to Burgess, twin MTU engines give AMICA a cruising speed of about 25 knots and a maximum of about 28 knots. Those are broker-published performance figures and should be read in the context of loading, maintenance, sea state and individual machinery configuration.
The speeds position her quite differently from a full-displacement explorer built for low-speed, long-distance passages. Owners considering the Azimut should weigh the convenience of faster coastal transits against the fuel demands and operating priorities of this type of hull.
Burgess also highlights shallow draught as useful for access to smaller islands and destinations such as the Bahamas. Any itinerary still needs actual charted depths, local guidance and a current measurement of the vessel's loaded draught rather than an assumed universal clearance.
The announcement places AMICA in Fort Lauderdale and says the yacht is scheduled to appear at Superyacht Village during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. It offers a timely chance to test the relationship between published details and the physical spaces onboard.
One particularly important qualification appears in the sale notice: the yacht is not for sale to US clients while in US waters. International marketing and vessel import status can introduce conditions that must be clarified with the broker and appropriately qualified advisers.
For an interested buyer, the next steps are an appointment, documentary review and impartial survey planning. AMICA's announced combination of five guest cabins, strong cruising speed and $5 million asking price makes her distinctive, but buyer protection remains a process rather than a photograph.
