A third Benetti Motopanfilo 45M has reportedly been sold for delivery in 2028, drawing attention to the 44.55m design and its open Veranda Deck.

An additional contract for the new series

A third example of the Benetti Motopanfilo 45M is reported sold, with delivery scheduled for late 2028 according to an industry report dated 27 October 2026. The deal has renewed attention on a steel-hulled model designed to update the Italian shipyard's long-established motopanfilo tradition.

Benetti's own product material establishes the model's layout and technical data, while the third-unit contract and delivery window have been reported separately by BOAT International. The shipyard's public model page does not independently announce that particular sale, so the transaction should be treated as reported rather than directly confirmed by the builder.

At 44.55 metres overall, the yacht falls comfortably within the superyacht category. Its significance is less about an extreme overall length than about the amount of guest space that Benetti seeks to connect directly with the sea.

The Veranda Deck as the centrepiece

Benetti's key design proposition is the Veranda Deck, developed with the exterior-design team at RWD and interior specialists Lazzarini Pickering Architetti. The concept opens the full-beam main saloon on three sides to create continuity with the surrounding open decks.

The builder describes a roughly 25-metre connected indoor-outdoor sequence, including a central pool and areas intended for informal life beside the sea. It is an architectural approach to social circulation rather than a simple addition of more isolated lounging spaces.

A successful execution will depend on the engineering of openings, drainage, air conditioning transitions and the relationship between weather protection and openness. Those details deserve attention when prospective owners translate a striking concept drawing into actual time aboard.

Accommodation and owner privacy

The published arrangement accommodates ten owners and guests in five cabins, with crew accommodation for nine people in a further five cabins. The model's generous beam of 9.10 metres is important to the accommodation proposition as well as the main-deck plan.

Benetti describes a master suite with more than 60 square metres of private space, an entrance study lounge and a full-beam bathroom. The yard also proposes an alternative owner's position on the upper deck with a private terrace, subject to individual specification.

The possibility of varying an owner's suite is relevant at the contracting stage because it changes the use of adjacent rooms and the balance between family privacy and shared spaces. Layout options require careful review against crew service routes and operational practicality.

Range and technical foundations

The builder's official specifications list steel and aluminium construction, a maximum beam of 9.10 metres and a maximum draught of 2.45 metres. Full-load displacement is stated at approximately 430 tonnes, a measurement relevant to engineering and dockage assessments.

Benetti quotes a range of 4,100 nautical miles at ten knots. That is a declared design specification rather than evidence of a particular completed hull's sea trials, and actual endurance will vary with loading, sea conditions, hotel consumption and operating reserve.

The design team combines Benetti's own development department, naval architect Pierluigi Ausonio and RWD for exterior work. The objective is evidently a modern cruising vessel with enough self-sufficiency for extended itineraries, while keeping guest experience at the heart of the plan.

A reinterpretation of heritage

Benetti uses a restrained hull profile, extensive glazing and a bronze accent recalling an earlier era of Italian motor-yacht styling. The distinctive elements are intended to link the Motopanfilo 45M with the brand's heritage without making the vessel look like a straightforward period reproduction.

The sequence of build contracts reported for the model suggests continuing buyer interest, but no sales volume or market-share inference can be established from an isolated announcement. Contract terms, final specification and the identity of the purchaser have not been confirmed in the referenced public information.

For now the most verifiable story combines the reported third sale with Benetti's detailed published design. Further yard updates will be needed to confirm the individual hull's construction milestones and eventual delivery timetable.
