Burgess has outlined winter availability in the Bahamas, Caribbean and Florida for five superyachts ranging from 45.7 to 112 metres, with indicative weekly rates.
Burgess has published a 22 October 2026 update identifying five large yachts with selected winter charter availability and advertised starting weekly rates. The vessels range from the 45.7-metre STEALTH to the 112-metre RENAISSANCE, with proposed cruising in the Bahamas, Caribbean and, for one yacht, Florida. This is a broker's availability snapshot, not a guarantee that every week, itinerary or cabin arrangement will remain open as the season progresses.
The timing matters for clients planning holiday travel or extended winter cruising. Popular dates can be reserved long before departure, while the flexibility of a charter programme depends on berth schedules, guest numbers, flag and commercial certification, existing bookings and local cruising permissions. A published weekly rate is the beginning of budgeting rather than a complete costed itinerary.
The largest vessel in the announcement is the 112-metre RENAISSANCE, advertised for cruising in the Bahamas and Caribbean from €3 million per week. Burgess lists accommodation for as many as 39 guests in 19 cabins, which is an unusually large guest complement in the superyacht sector. Any intended use must still follow the yacht's commercial approvals and the operating rules applicable to specific destinations and events.
At 88.5 metres, BARBARA is advertised in the Caribbean and Bahamas from US$1.1 million per week, accommodating 12 guests in eight cabins. The different guest capacities demonstrate why vessel length alone is an incomplete measure of charter suitability. An owner-scale private party, multigenerational family holiday or more extensive celebration may place quite different demands on cabin distribution, privacy and onboard service.
The 73.5-metre SIREN is offered for Bahamas and Caribbean cruising from €500,000 per week, with accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins. BEOWULF measures 57.6 metres and is listed for the Caribbean and Florida from US$350,000 per week, carrying up to ten guests in five cabins. Both offer substantially different group sizes and budgets from the 112-metre flagship.
The smallest yacht in the current selection, 45.7-metre STEALTH, is offered for the Bahamas and Caribbean from US$165,000 per week, also with ten guests in five cabins. These advertised rates use two currencies and do not represent a currency-adjusted like-for-like price comparison. Prospective charterers should ask what is included, how the yacht is taxed and whether different cruising areas or dates affect the applicable quote.
Large-yacht charters often involve additional costs for fuel, food and drinks, berth fees, local fees, communications and other operating expenditure through the agreed advance provisioning arrangement. Gratuities may be handled separately, and tax treatment depends on the itinerary and contract. The amounts will vary with yacht, consumption and destination, so a client should request a written estimate for the exact proposed programme before making a decision.
A voyage with extensive repositioning or long daily passages can have a different expense profile from a more relaxed week using a small number of sheltered anchorages. Similarly, guest requests for special events, extra water sports or unusual dining experiences may add logistics and provisioning requirements. Weekly headline prices should therefore be used to shortlist appropriate vessels, not to calculate a final total without the charter manager's input.
The largest yacht is not automatically the best fit for every group. A smaller, carefully selected vessel may make boarding, shore excursions and daily activity more manageable, while a larger platform can offer greater separation of spaces and more onboard alternatives during unsettled weather. Children, older guests and anyone with reduced mobility may particularly benefit from an early review of stairs, tender transfers and access arrangements.
Clients should also establish whether the advertised accommodation count and guest limit suit the proposed use. A formal reception in port is not automatically authorised simply because a yacht has generous decks, and overnight capacity is not interchangeable with event capacity. Reviewing crew resources, tender arrangements, safety procedures and the intended route is part of responsible charter selection.
Burgess explicitly invites enquiries for tailored alternatives if the five advertised options do not fit a client's wish list. That reinforces the provisional nature of an availability list: a yacht can be withdrawn, repositioned or reserved without the original article being rewritten. It is sensible to obtain current confirmation of the proposed dates, the actual vessel particulars and an itemised cost estimate.
The immediate editorial takeaway is that the broker is marketing winter options across a wide 45.7-to-112-metre range, with markedly different starting prices and guest capacities. The published announcement is useful for understanding the spectrum of high-end Atlantic winter cruising, but final decisions should rest on current charter agreements and verified availability. No booking or negotiated charter rate is implied by this report.
