Smart Yachts announces a €1m price cut for 2025-built Custom Line Navetta 42 ALBUS, highlighting low reported engine hours, five guest cabins and a 3,000nm range.
Smart Yachts has announced a €1 million reduction in the asking price of ALBUS, a Custom Line Navetta 42 delivered in 2025. The brokerage reports around 350 operating hours on the main engines and says the yacht is available for near-term inspection rather than requiring the wait associated with a new custom build.
The release does not specify the final sales price after the reduction, so buyers should confirm the current listing figure before treating the discount as a transaction benchmark. A recently delivered vessel can offer useful assurance about modern equipment, but low hours alone do not demonstrate that every technical system has been commissioned or maintained correctly.
Zuccon International Project is credited with the Navetta 42's overall design, which uses the displacement-style platform to prioritize interior volume and extended cruising. ALBUS accommodates ten guests in five cabins, with separate crew quarters arranged for nine. A full-beam owner's suite forward on the main deck includes an office and marble-finished bathroom.
The light-toned interior uses wood surfaces, large windows and opening doors intended to connect its main saloon with outside areas. A separate upper-level lounge provides another gathering point when guests want more privacy. The best evidence of how these spaces work comes from inspecting their actual circulation, service access and furniture arrangements aboard.
The yacht has a waterside beach club, aft dining space and forward lounging areas. A sundeck equipped with a jacuzzi, bar and grilling station provides a further destination for guests, rather than relying on one principal terrace. Owners should consider shade, wind exposure and safe access when comparing these spaces with other yachts of similar length.
Smart Yachts states that twin diesel engines deliver an estimated maximum of 15.5 knots, with comfortable cruising around ten knots and a reported range near 3,000 nautical miles. Those figures are relevant to route planning but should be validated against loading, fuel reserves and the actual sea-trial documentation for this particular hull.
A recent vessel can still have warranty conditions, scheduled servicing and equipment updates that a purchaser needs to understand. The broker reports completed warranty work, but that statement should be supported by records identifying exactly what was inspected, replaced or adjusted. Stabilisation and hotel systems deserve particular attention on a yacht intended for extended guest use.
The latest development concerns ALBUS's commercial positioning, not a second launch or a new delivery. A full survey and transaction-specific legal checks remain appropriate before purchase. The announcement does not establish a completed sale or a market-wide fall in Custom Line values.
