Northrop & Johnson has listed the 37.7m Delta Marine FORE ACES at $8.9m after a substantial 2021–2023 refit and 12ft sundeck extension.

FORE ACES enters the market at $8.9m

Northrop & Johnson has taken the central agency for the 37.7-metre Delta Marine motor yacht FORE ACES, with an asking price of $8.9 million. Delivered in 2003, the yacht underwent a substantial refit programme between 2021 and 2023.

One of the most visible changes was a 12-foot extension to the sundeck, increasing usable outdoor space without abandoning the profile of Delta Marine’s 124-foot platform. The brokerage describes the yacht as turn-key, although buyers should verify the scope and timing of refit work through invoices and survey records.

Five cabins for 12 guests

FORE ACES accommodates 12 guests in five cabins, including a main-deck master suite with a king-size berth. The remaining layout comprises a VIP cabin, two queen cabins and a twin cabin with two Pullman berths.

The interior by Delta Design Group uses satin cherry and sapele pommele finishes. Guest areas include a main salon with lounge seating and bar, formal dining, a skylounge and covered exterior dining spaces across the yacht’s three-deck arrangement.

Twin Caterpillar power and zero-speed stabilisation

Propulsion comes from twin Caterpillar 3412E engines rated at 1,400 horsepower each. Northrop & Johnson also lists two 65kW Northern Lights generators and Quantum zero-speed stabilisers.

The yacht carries a 4,000-pound davit and a large tender deck, while its relatively shallow draft broadens access to cruising grounds where deeper-displacement yachts can be constrained. Machinery hours, stabiliser service history and the condition of refit-era upgrades remain key due-diligence points.

A mature yacht with recent capital investment

The listing illustrates a recurring segment of the brokerage market: older, high-quality American-built yachts that have received meaningful recent investment. For some buyers, that can offer more space and proven construction for the money than a newer yacht of similar asking price.

Operating cost remains separate from acquisition price, particularly for a yacht approaching 40 metres with 12-guest capacity and substantial hotel systems. Northrop & Johnson brokers Wes Sanford and Mike Finnegan are handling the current sale.
