Feadship will give its new HIVE concept design a first Monaco appearance, presenting fresh thinking about life on board and the future of pure-custom yachts.

Feadship will present its newest concept design, HIVE, at the Monaco Yacht Show from 23 to 26 September 2026. The Dutch builder describes the project as an exploration of new ideas around life on board and a view of how it sees the future of pure-custom yacht creation.

HIVE is being introduced as a concept rather than a yacht under construction. Its Monaco appearance is therefore significant as a design statement: a platform for Feadship to test ideas and communicate future directions without tying them to an announced client project.

A first Monaco appearance

Feadship says HIVE will make its first appearance in Monaco, with further thinking behind the concept presented in the latest issue of its PILOT publication. A dedicated HIVE concept pocket will also be available during the show.

The company has not yet released a full technical specification in the material sent to SYG. We are therefore not assigning dimensions, propulsion details or performance claims that have not been confirmed by Feadship.

Designing around life on board

The central theme disclosed so far is life on board. That places HIVE within a broader shift in large-yacht design toward how owners and guests actually use spaces, rather than treating exterior form or headline dimensions as the starting point.

For a pure-custom builder, a concept can also act as a conversation starter with prospective owners and designers. Ideas shown in a concept may later influence commissioned yachts even when the concept itself is never built as presented.

Feadship at Monaco 2026

HIVE forms part of a wider Feadship presence at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. The builder is also bringing 71.5-metre Vanish and 51-metre Double Haven to the show, while its September update covers active refit and service work across several yachts.

Further HIVE details are expected around the Monaco presentation. SYG will treat subsequent specifications and design claims as publishable only when they are confirmed through Feadship’s own material.
