The 1979 Feadship MIRAGE is advertised at €17.95 million by Superyacht Sales and Charter following decades of refits and a 2020 repaint.
The motor yacht MIRAGE, a Feadship delivered in 1979 and subsequently extended and refitted, is offered for sale at €17.95 million in a listing represented by Superyacht Sales and Charter. The brokerage advertises the vessel in Trondheim, Norway, and the asking price is a current marketing figure rather than a completed transaction.
The sale listing gives MIRAGE a length of 52.73 metres, while other historic records round her later overall length to approximately 53 metres. The difference does not identify a second yacht: the vessel was launched as DARIA and has also carried the names WEDGE ONE, AVANTE IV and ELISABETH F.
Feadship's own historical record identifies the vessel as hull 621, originally built at 48 metres and notable for an early automated satellite communications installation. The yacht later underwent major work, including an extension, while the current sales listing describes a Pendennis refit and subsequent upgrades.
The brokerage highlights a 2020 exterior repaint and bridge improvements, along with further winter maintenance. Buyers should establish the exact dates and scope of these separate projects through shipyard records, invoices and an independent pre-purchase survey rather than relying on an undifferentiated refit year.
The sales material lists eight guest cabins, a beam of approximately 8.6 metres and a volume of 498 gross tonnes. It also identifies two Caterpillar D399 diesel engines and advertises a maximum speed of approximately 15 knots, which remains a broker specification rather than a fresh trial result.
The broker advertises accommodation for as many as 20 people in eight cabins, whereas MIRAGE's own website identifies 12 guests. Those figures should not be conflated with certified charter capacity; purchasers must verify the current flag-state passenger limits and applicable commercial permissions.
The yacht's age makes survey findings, machinery maintenance, classification status and any future refit obligations especially important to assessing acquisition costs. A published asking price does not establish the final contract price, tax treatment or the cost of operating a vessel of this size.
The accompanying image is an archival exterior photograph from MIRAGE's own website and is not represented as a photograph taken in Trondheim in September 2026. The listing should be checked with Superyacht Sales and Charter for current availability, viewing access and full technical documentation.
