Freya won the Swan Maxi division at the 2026 Rolex Swan Cup after three successive race victories, as the 170-yacht event concluded in Porto Cervo.

Freya completes a comeback in Porto Cervo

The 23rd Rolex Swan Cup concluded on 19 September 2026 with Freya taking the Swan Maxi division. Yacht Club Costa Smeralda reports that the Swan 90 recovered from sixth place in the opening race by winning each of the following three races, including the final coastal contest ahead of Spiip.

The regatta brought together 170 Swan yachts and more than 1,800 sailors during Nautor Swan's 60th-anniversary year. The final day offered a north-easterly breeze that built from approximately eight to 12 knots, allowing the rating fleets to complete a coastal course around Caprera and neighbouring islands.

Other maxi and cruiser class results

Arobas, a Swan 601, won the Swan Mini-Maxi division after retaining the overall lead with second place in the final race. In Swan Maxi Pure Cruising, the Swan 78 Azzurro completed three consecutive wins and finished ahead of Miss 5K and Coco de Mer on the last day.

From Now On, a Swan 45, took the Swan Cruiser Racer class after three straight race victories. The Swan Legacy divisions produced close competition, with Shirlaf winning the larger Sparkman & Stephens group and Pride topping the smaller group as well as the overall Legacy standings.

One-design titles decided

Earlybird won the ClubSwan 50 division, while Team 42+1 took the ClubSwan 43 title following six successive race wins. Nadir prevailed in the ClubSwan 42 class after finishing tied on points and countback with Pez de Abril, with the final race deciding the result.

Cuordileone secured the ClubSwan 36 title, and Anya Race won ClubSwan 28 by one point. The event is organised by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda with Nautor Swan and Rolex, and the club says the fleet is expected back in Porto Cervo in 2028.
