Groupe Beneteau reports €449.2m in first-half revenue, up 11.2%, with underlying operations near breakeven as new-model demand improves.

Groupe Beneteau has reported first-half 2026 revenue of €449.2 million, an increase of 11.2 percent against the same period in 2025. Its September statement also shows a marked recovery in income from ordinary operations, which improved from a €20.6 million loss to a €0.2 million loss.

The group attributes the improvement to higher volumes and operational measures, including gains in France and Poland. The reported figures describe the entire boating group and should not be mistaken for results of a single yacht brand or vessel category.

Revenue and ordinary operations move in different directions

Revenue was €403.8 million in the comparable first half of last year, while EBITDA rose from €8.5 million to €29.4 million. The ordinary operating margin consequently moved from a negative 5.1 percent to approximately breakeven.

Excluding American activities being discontinued, the company reports positive ordinary operating income of €9 million, compared with a €12 million loss one year earlier. The distinction matters because the headline consolidated results still reflect restructuring costs.

Group net income remained negative at €21.4 million, and management identified approximately €30 million of non-recurring impacts. The largest items related to withdrawal from the affected US brands, including provisions and impairment of assets.

US restructuring weighs on the bottom line

That is why improved operating performance and a negative bottom line can appear together in the same results statement. Readers comparing marine manufacturers should examine both continuing-business measures and one-off charges before drawing conclusions about trading strength.

Chief executive Bruno Thivoyon said the response to 18 new models shown at Cannes exceeded the previous event's sales, despite a more difficult market environment. The launch plan covers 24 models during the season, making product renewal a major component of the group's strategy.

The company also said retail sales increased by 14 percent during the first half. Orders had weakened from March, according to management, so stronger retail activity should not be interpreted as a guarantee of unchanged future factory demand.

Cannes orders inform the product programme

Groupe Beneteau expects 2026 revenue excluding discontinued American activities to grow by between four and nine percent, with consolidated sales in the €860 million to €900 million range. These are company guidance figures, not completed annual results.

Yards, dealers and marine equipment suppliers follow such guidance because a large builder's production calendar influences suppliers of engines, systems, interiors and componentry. The mix of sailing and motor models also affects the size and timing of purchase orders.

What the figures say about the wider supply chain

For Superyacht Guide, the update is relevant as an indicator of industrial capacity and broader yacht-market demand, not a claim about sales of yachts over 24 metres. The brands and their individual product ranges must still be evaluated within their own size segments.

The next check will be how new models translate into deliveries, margin and sustained cash generation after the restructuring effects. The September financial release supplies an evidence base, while the full-year outcome remains subject to trading conditions.
