METSTRADE 2026 Expands Superyacht Zone Across Three Halls

METSTRADE is expanding its superyacht presence for the 2026 edition, with the official show layout placing the Superyacht Zone across Halls 8, 9 and 10 at RAI Amsterdam. The enlarged area combines superyacht equipment and technology exhibitors with dedicated refit activity, a Superyacht Stage and specialist startup space.

The show will run from 17 to 19 November 2026 in Amsterdam. The changes give the large-yacht supply chain a more substantial position within the wider marine-equipment exhibition and bring new-build technology, refit, innovation and industry discussion into a more concentrated part of the show.

Superyacht Zone expands across three halls

METSTRADE's current 2026 layout places the Superyacht Zone in Halls 8, 9 and 10. The expansion creates a larger dedicated environment for companies supplying systems, equipment, materials and specialist services to large yachts and the businesses that build and operate them.

Much of the technology shaping modern superyachts enters projects through the supply chain rather than at final assembly. Propulsion, electrical equipment, automation, coatings, materials, interiors and energy-management systems can all affect how a completed yacht performs, which makes a dedicated technical marketplace particularly relevant to builders, designers and project teams.

Refit receives a dedicated focus

Refit forms a specific part of the expanded Superyacht Zone through dedicated refit clusters. METSTRADE says approximately 6,000 active vessels form the potential fleet requiring regular major works, creating a substantial market for yards, destinations, suppliers and technical specialists.

That installed fleet matters because refit demand continues throughout a yacht's operational life. Major maintenance, machinery replacement, paint programmes, interior renewal, regulatory work and technical upgrades can return repeatedly over decades, giving the refit economy a different commercial rhythm from new construction.

The Superyacht Stage adds sector-specific discussion

The 2026 zone also includes a dedicated Superyacht Stage for talks and panel discussions focused on the sector. METSTRADE says the programme will examine technologies and applications shaping the future of superyacht design, innovation and operations.

That discussion component gives visitors a setting to consider how new equipment fits into complete yacht projects rather than evaluating products only in isolation. Integration, maintenance, reliability, regulation and operating requirements all influence whether a new technology can make the transition from an exhibition stand to a working yacht.

Superyacht startups get dedicated Hall 8 space

The startup programme is also being expanded for 2026, with a dedicated superyacht startup area in Hall 8. The initiative is being delivered with Yachting Ventures and gives early-stage companies a specialist route into the large-yacht market alongside METSTRADE's broader startup activity.

For emerging marine-technology companies, access to builders, suppliers, investors and potential customers can be particularly important because superyacht procurement demands reliability and long-term technical support. A dedicated superyacht area gives those companies a more focused environment in which to demonstrate products and build commercial relationships.

Amsterdam strengthens its role in the technical superyacht calendar

METSTRADE 2026 takes place at RAI Amsterdam from 17 to 19 November. By expanding the Superyacht Zone, strengthening the refit presence and combining exhibition space with conference and startup activity, the organiser is increasing both the physical footprint and the range of superyacht-specific content at the show.
