Metstrade has confirmed six initial exhibitors for its dedicated 2026 Superyacht Startups Area in Hall 8, with Fort Insurance sponsoring the wider programme.
Metstrade has named the first six companies selected for its dedicated Superyacht Startups Area in Hall 8 at the 2026 edition. The initial list, announced on 17 September, comprises Sea·it, Zeafarer, Massive Marine, The Galley Table, MAIT Tech and Leak Stop Gun, with further places still to be allocated.
The organiser has also confirmed Fort Insurance as official sponsor of both startup areas, continuing its work with Yachting Ventures. The announcement is distinct from the earlier expansion of the show floor because it identifies actual businesses scheduled to exhibit, offering yards and yacht managers a more concrete starting point for meetings in November.
The initial Hall 8 cohort spans companies developing products and services for the superyacht market. Metstrade is positioning the area close to its wider superyacht exhibition and business programme so that young firms can meet technical decision-makers, owner representatives and established suppliers directly.
The selection should not be read as a final complete exhibitor list, since the announcement explicitly states that spaces remain. The value of publishing the names now is that project teams can investigate individual businesses before the show rather than trying to identify relevant suppliers during a busy exhibition day.
A separate area in Hall 5 has fourteen initially confirmed companies, including Vital Lyfe, SWAY, Northern Light, TONJO, Kaiman Marine, WOW – Works on Water, Primum, FETCH, NZeroWax and SensiBlue. The two areas are designed to connect emerging businesses with different purchasing audiences while retaining access to the wider marine equipment show.
The scheme is curated by Yachting Ventures and includes opportunities for introductions, networking and pitching. Not every Hall 5 product is specifically intended for a superyacht, but there is potential for technology and materials to cross over between smaller craft and larger-yacht supply chains.
Fort Insurance is supporting both startup areas as their official sponsor, extending its existing relationship with Yachting Ventures. For young manufacturers and service providers, developing a product is only part of entering the yacht market; insurance, certification, service commitments and distribution all influence whether a buyer can use the product in a real project.
The show runs from 17 to 19 November in Amsterdam. Its first named superyacht cohort gives shipyards, captains and technical managers another source of early-stage supplier leads beyond the established exhibitors already represented across the halls.
