METSTRADE confirms an initial 20 firms in its two start-up areas for 2026, including six in the Superyacht Startups Area and sponsor Fort Insurance.

Two areas for new marine businesses

METSTRADE has announced an initial group of 20 businesses for its Amsterdam start-up programme. Fourteen are assigned to Hall 5 and six to the dedicated Superyacht Startups Area in Hall 8.

The programme is organised with Yachting Ventures and connects emerging firms with builders, managers, distributors and investors. Fort Insurance is named as sponsor of both areas.

What the superyacht industry can assess

A specific Hall 8 setting makes it easier to discuss new technical and service propositions for large vessels. The six-firm group is included in the 20-company total, not an additional set.

A place on an exhibition stand does not guarantee product suitability, commercial stability or classification approval. Technical teams should still check references, service cover and procurement documentation.

Amsterdam in November

The event runs at RAI Amsterdam on 17–19 November 2026. The announcement lists the initial participants and may be followed by further confirmations.

An official METSTRADE graphic accompanies this report and identifies the programme. SYG’s earlier report on six superyacht start-ups covers the subset rather than a separate announcement.
