Monaco Marina Rendezvous Brings Delegates From 30 Countries to Discuss Investment and AI

Marina operators meet ahead of Monaco Yacht Show

The sixth Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous takes place at the Yacht Club de Monaco on 20 and 21 September 2026, ahead of Monaco Yacht Show. The organiser says marina managers, investors, architects, manufacturers and other participants from 30 countries are attending the two-day programme.

M3 Monaco organises the meeting, with backing from several industry and sustainability partners including the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and MB92 Group. The organiser's 18 September announcement is a programme preview, not confirmation that announced projects have already been built or investments completed.

Investment and the physical requirements of future marinas

The published agenda covers marina investment, infrastructure, biodiversity, material choices and standards for changing vessel requirements. For large-yacht operators, these subjects connect to berth availability, shoreside support, service capacity and whether new facilities are designed for the dimensions and power demands of visiting yachts.

Environmental measures are also on the programme, but the existence of a sustainability initiative does not alone establish a measured improvement. Useful project comparisons will depend on defined baselines, monitoring results and the operational costs of installing and maintaining any proposed technology.

AI and cybersecurity join the agenda

Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity are listed among the topics under discussion as marinas adopt connected booking, access and management systems. Greater connectivity can improve visibility of berths and services while also increasing the importance of access controls, supplier assurance and incident response planning.
