The 6th Olympic Yacht Show says more than 120 vessels are confirmed at Olympic Marine in Lavrio on 15–18 October, with industry representatives from fifteen countries expected.

The sixth edition enters its final preparation period

Organisers of the Olympic Yacht Show have confirmed more than 120 vessels for the 2026 exhibition at Olympic Marine in Lavrio, Greece. The four-day event is scheduled for 15–18 October, with advance ticket sales open and final marina preparation under way. The newly reported fleet number adds substance to earlier announcements of the show's dates.

The event covers a broad part of the boating industry, including motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans. Not every boat is a superyacht: organisers say the in-water displays include vessels over nine metres. SYG's interest lies in the larger yachts, associated designers, manufacturers and service firms represented within that wider programme.

Lavrio offers an in-water comparison setting

A marina exhibition allows buyers to assess boarding access, deck layouts and fittings on real hulls rather than relying solely on photographs or renders. The location is also within a region whose island cruising season is relevant to owners evaluating Mediterranean operating bases and future charter activity.

However, an event listing does not guarantee that a particular yacht will be open for unrestricted viewing or available for sea trials. Prospective visitors should establish exhibitor appointments and any permitted access conditions before travelling. The exact individual model inventory may change in the days before the show.

Commercial links extend beyond boat sales

The official announcement expects representatives from the international press and business community across fifteen countries. Dealers, builders, equipment suppliers, designers and maritime tourism operators are intended to meet at the same venue, creating opportunities that reach beyond the sale of a single yacht.

For companies serving larger yachts, events of this type can help coordinate future service arrangements, local partner networks and project enquiries. They also provide a channel for discussing marina capacity and the supporting infrastructure necessary for visiting superyachts. The economic effect of those meetings cannot be measured before transactions and follow-up work are completed.

The new fleet figure needs post-show confirmation

The organisers describe the exhibition as a forum for technology and industry discussion as well as an outdoor yacht display. Sponsors and partners include established marine brands and charter-related businesses, giving visitors an opportunity to speak with different parts of the market.

As of the 8 October announcement, the show remained ahead and the figure of more than 120 boats referred to confirmed participation rather than a final attendance tally. SYG will need to distinguish subsequent visitor numbers and completed commercial results from these advance expectations.
