ONE°15 Sentosa Cove Starts 24/7 Yacht CIQ Clearance in Singapore

ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove has introduced 24-hour Customs, Immigration and Quarantine clearance for pleasure craft and yachts, giving visiting vessels greater flexibility when arriving in or departing from Singapore.

The service became operational on 1 September 2026 and makes ONE°15 the first marina in Singapore to offer round-the-clock CIQ clearance for pleasure craft. The change removes the need for yacht operators to plan border clearance around a narrower daily operating window.

Round-the-clock clearance for yacht movements

CIQ clearance combines the customs, immigration and quarantine formalities required when a yacht crosses an international border. For captains and yacht managers, the timing of those formalities can influence route planning, crew movements, guest transfers and the practical choice of arrival time.

ONE°15 says the 24/7 arrangement was developed with Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and is intended to make yacht arrivals and departures more efficient while preserving existing border-security requirements.

More than 2,500 vessel clearances since 2022

The marina reports that it has handled more than 2,500 vessel clearances since CIQ operations resumed there in June 2022. The volume provides useful context for the decision to extend the service to continuous operation.

For superyachts cruising between Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, the practical benefit is operational flexibility. Late arrivals, weather delays or itinerary changes no longer automatically mean waiting for the next conventional clearance window at the marina.

Singapore strengthens its regional cruising role

Singapore is a major service, provisioning and transport hub for yachts operating in Southeast Asia. Easier clearance can therefore support both visiting yachts and locally based vessels moving between regional cruising grounds.

Captains should still confirm documentary requirements, advance notice procedures and any vessel-specific conditions before arrival. The move to 24-hour operation changes availability, but it does not remove normal customs, immigration or quarantine obligations.
