Damen's 75m Custom DY 75 Hybrid Still Listed In Build for 2026
Damen Yachting lists the 75m Custom DY 75 Hybrid in build for 2026; the current fleet entry does not yet establish an owner handover.
Pearl Yachts has expanded its range upward with the 30-metre Pearl 100 Hybrid, its largest model and the first Pearl developed with hybrid propulsion.
Pearl Yachts is moving into the 30-metre superyacht bracket with the Pearl 100 Hybrid, a new raised-pilothouse flagship that becomes the largest model in the British builder's range. The project combines five guest staterooms with Pearl's first hybrid-propulsion package and a layout aimed at retaining the brand's owner-operated design philosophy at greater scale.
The Pearl 100 extends the company's range into a size category that crosses the conventional 24-metre superyacht threshold by a substantial margin. At approximately 30 metres overall, the raised-pilothouse platform is intended to provide more interior and exterior volume without abandoning the proportions of a performance motor yacht.
Moving a brand upward in size is not only a styling exercise because crew requirements, engineering complexity, classification and onboard systems all increase. Pearl is therefore using the project to establish a larger technical platform rather than simply stretching one of its existing models.
The published layout provides five guest staterooms, giving the Pearl 100 a level of accommodation normally expected of larger private motor yachts. The arrangement is designed to support extended owner use while keeping guest circulation separated from the working routes needed by crew.
Pearl has traditionally emphasised efficient use of internal volume across its range, and the 100 continues that approach at flagship scale. Final cabin arrangement, equipment choices and decorative details will still vary with the specification selected for individual hulls.
The model is described by Pearl as its first yacht to incorporate hybrid propulsion, marking a significant technical step for the builder. A hybrid installation can allow propulsion and hotel loads to be managed through different combinations of engines, electric machinery and stored electrical energy.
The practical benefit depends on the exact architecture, battery capacity and operating profile rather than on the hybrid label alone. Harbour manoeuvring, low-load running and hotel operation can offer useful opportunities, while long high-speed passages continue to impose substantial energy demand.
At 30 metres, the Pearl 100 sits above the strict upper limit used by Luxury Yacht Guide and belongs within Superyacht Guide's 24-metre-and-above fleet coverage. That makes the model strategically important for the group because it moves Pearl into direct comparison with established European superyacht builders.
Superyacht Guide is treating the Pearl 100 Hybrid as a current model and technology development rather than claiming a yacht-specific delivery event. Future launch, sea-trial and owner handover milestones should be recorded separately once confirmed through Pearl's official channels.
