Princess X90 Heads to Monaco After Cannes Global Premiere

X90 becomes Princess Yachts’ Monaco line-up

Princess Yachts is presenting the new X90 at the Monaco Yacht Show from 23 to 26 September 2026. The builder’s official Monaco line-up lists the X90 as its yacht at Port Hercule, bringing the model directly into the superyacht-focused show after its global premiere at Cannes earlier this month.

The X90 measures 27.11 metres including the pulpit and sits within Princess’s X Class. Although compact beside many of the custom yachts in Monaco, its length places it firmly inside Superyacht Guide’s 24-metre-plus coverage and makes the model relevant to owners comparing production-built alternatives with larger semi-custom yachts.

Super Flybridge layout concentrates volume above deck

Princess describes the X90 around its Super Flybridge concept, which increases the amount of enclosed and open living space carried higher in the yacht. Three separate exterior social zones are combined with an enclosed skylounge arrangement, giving owners more usable upper-deck accommodation than a conventional open flybridge would provide.

The main deck also uses a low open cockpit with folding bulwark balconies to widen the aft waterside area. Forward, the owner’s suite can be specified with a private gullwing door leading directly to the foredeck terrace, separating that space from the principal guest circulation route.

Up to 10 guests and three MAN engine choices

The standard accommodation can be arranged for eight guests in four double cabins, with an optional fifth cabin increasing capacity to 10. Princess also provides dedicated crew accommodation, while the yacht’s 6.62-metre beam gives the interior more width than many narrower performance yachts of similar length.

Engine choices comprise twin MAN V12-1900, V12-2000 or V12X-2200 diesels. Princess quotes a maximum-speed range extending to 27 knots depending on specification, while fuel capacity is 11,000 litres and approximate displacement is 91.5 tonnes at the builder’s stated loading condition.

Monaco follows a rapid 2026 launch programme

The first X90 entered the water in 2026 before the model’s September public premiere in Cannes. Moving immediately from Cannes to Monaco gives Princess two different audiences for the same new platform: the broader production-yacht market first, followed by owners and advisers attending a show dominated by larger superyachts.

That progression is useful for buyers considering where the boundary now sits between production and semi-custom ownership. The X90 keeps the repeatable engineering and manufacturing structure of a Princess series yacht while offering the volume, crew separation and owner-focused spaces increasingly expected above the 24-metre threshold.
