RMK ARCANE NOVA Pairs 55m Platform With 190m² Jumbo Deck

A second 55-metre ARCANE direction

RMK Yachts has released full details of ARCANE NOVA, the more radical counterpart to ARCANE ERA within the yard’s new 55-metre ARCANE family. NOVA retains the same 499 GT target, 9.10-metre beam and steel-and-aluminium construction while adopting a different general arrangement and exterior language.

Espen Øino International is responsible for exterior design, Cassetta Yacht Designers for the interior and exterior deck spaces, and Van Oossanen for naval architecture. RMK positions NOVA as the forward-looking half of the ARCANE pair, with a stronger emphasis on open deck area and unconventional circulation.

190-square-metre Jumbo Deck

The defining feature is RMK’s 190-square-metre Jumbo Deck, conceived as a large uninterrupted outdoor environment for wellness, entertaining and relaxation. The aft Piazza adds another 180 square metres of waterfront space, while the forward Piazzetta provides a 94-square-metre lounge.

At the top of the yacht, the Love Nest creates a private panoramic retreat with its own Jacuzzi. The owner’s private terrace is listed at 42.5 square metres, giving the arrangement several distinct outdoor zones instead of concentrating all guest life around one aft deck.

IPS propulsion and hybrid option

ARCANE NOVA uses IPS propulsion and is quoted with a 15-knot maximum speed, a 10-knot cruising speed and a 5,000-nautical-mile range at nine knots in eco mode. RMK also lists hybrid propulsion as an optional configuration for the platform.

The compact propulsion arrangement is intended to free volume for guest and technical spaces while supporting the range target within a sub-500 GT envelope. As with ERA, the published performance figures remain design targets until a contracted yacht is completed and tested at sea.

Six guest cabins below 500 GT

The accommodation plan provides six owner and guest cabins for 12 people and six crew cabins for 11 crew. The layout also includes a main-deck aft pool, gym with fold-down balconies, sauna, massage room and a 7.2-metre tender positioned forward on the main deck.

RMK classifies NOVA as a displacement expedition yacht and lists Bureau Veritas commercial yacht classification in the specification. Together with ERA, it gives buyers two distinct arrangements on the same 55-metre technical foundation rather than a single fixed concept.
