British Marine confirms an 18–25 September 2027 show at Mayflower Park, with Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker already committed to the shorter event.
British Marine has announced that Southampton International Boat Show will return from 18 to 25 September 2027 in an eight-day Saturday-to-Saturday format. The change follows exhibitor feedback after the 2026 edition and is designed to concentrate commercial activity while retaining three weekend trading days.
The organiser says Fairline, Princess Yachts and Sunseeker have confirmed plans to attend in 2027. That early commitment matters to suppliers, brokers and service companies planning launches or meetings around the major UK on-water showcase.
The revised dates shorten the event rather than moving it away from its established Southampton waterfront setting. British Marine identifies a focused visitor programme and a clearer sales period as reasons for the shift.
An eight-day run may make staffing and hospitality easier for some exhibitors, but the benefit will depend on each company's buyer appointments and operating costs. The organiser has not published independent attendance or sales forecasts for the new structure.
Fairline's chief executive Oliver Southwell has said the yard intends to bring a new British debut to the 2027 line-up. That is a statement of planned participation; no particular model should be announced as confirmed until the builder supplies the details.
Sunseeker and Princess also describe the show as an important home-market platform. The three brands make yachts across different sizes, so their presence supports interest from production buyers and the broader superyacht supply chain.
British Marine has secured Mayflower Park for the next three years. The decision gives exhibitors more certainty about the show's base, access arrangements and waterfront logistics as they evaluate longer-term commitments.
An established location can simplify planning for pontoons, visitor routes and service contractors. Specific berths, yacht positions and show access rules remain subject to subsequent operational announcements.
The organiser is offering savings of up to twenty percent for businesses booking before 15 November 2026. It also sets out staged payments of fifteen percent at contract signing, thirty-five percent by 31 March and the remaining fifty percent by 1 July 2027.
Those terms are a commercial invitation rather than a guarantee that every exhibit or placement qualifies for the maximum discount. Businesses should check stand category, contract conditions, insurance and additional costs when comparing options.
British Marine says an exhibitor advisory group will provide a continuing route for feedback as planning develops. That is relevant to equipment makers and service businesses whose needs can differ from those of large yacht exhibitors.
The 2027 dates are confirmed in the official announcement, while individual yacht displays and launches remain future details. The photograph accompanying this report is an official image of the 2026 show, not an image of the event before it takes place.
