Turquoise Yachts’ 80m BRAVO is progressing in build toward 2028 delivery, combining a 2,200 GT platform with hybrid power, extensive wellness areas and large decks.
Turquoise Yachts is continuing construction of the 80-metre BRAVO, one of the largest yachts in the Turkish builder’s current order book and a project now associated with a 2028 delivery timetable. The yacht combines a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure and is being developed as a five-deck platform with extensive exterior areas, wellness spaces and hybrid-capable machinery.
Turquoise publishes an overall length of 80 metres, a beam of 14.95 metres and a full-load draft of approximately 3.8 metres, with gross tonnage around the 2,200 GT mark. H2 Yacht Design’s current project material lists delivery in 2028, giving the build a clear medium-term completion target while substantial interior customisation and finishing work continue.
BRAVO’s published class specification includes hybrid power, making the electrical and propulsion architecture more than a marketing add-on. Turquoise lists twin MTU 12V4000 M65L main engines rated at 1,920 kW each together with Volvo Penta generating sets, while the final operating strategy will determine how the hybrid elements are used across propulsion and hotel loads.
The shipyard gives an approximate maximum speed of 17 knots and specifies zero-speed stabilisation. Those figures place the yacht in conventional large-displacement performance territory, with the hybrid system aimed more at efficiency, flexibility and onboard comfort than at turning BRAVO into a high-speed platform.
A. Vallicelli Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior, using a pronounced forward thrust in the hull profile, large vertical windows and a sheerline that falls gently toward the stern. Turquoise says the external decks are proportionally larger than on smaller members of the same family, creating wide walkarounds and substantial open-air guest areas across the five-deck arrangement.
The sun deck is topped by a bridge mast and fixed hardtop designed to provide shade without closing down the deck. At main-deck level, a large swimming pool and the connection toward the beach club reinforce the project’s emphasis on exterior living rather than concentrating guest amenities inside the yacht’s considerable enclosed volume.
H2 Yacht Design is handling the interior, with the published accommodation centred on an owner’s suite with private office, VIP accommodation and multiple guest cabins. The yacht also incorporates two saloons, extensive crew and technical areas and a large beach club, giving the interior programme the scale expected from a yacht of roughly 2,200 GT.
Wellness is distributed across several areas rather than confined to one room. Turquoise lists a gym, steam room, massage space, sauna, main-deck pool and sun-deck Jacuzzi, while the tender inventory is designed around a 9.6-metre luxury tender, an 8.6-metre guest tender and a separate rescue or crew tender.
Because the yacht is still under construction, the published specification should be read as a project configuration rather than a delivered-yacht record. Build progress, final owner choices and commissioning can still change equipment or interior details before completion, particularly on a custom project of this scale.
What is already clear is the platform: 80 metres, nearly 15 metres of beam, roughly 2,200 GT, hybrid power and a strong wellness and exterior-living brief. As construction moves toward the 2028 target, BRAVO gives Turquoise another large custom project with which to demonstrate its ability to combine substantial volume with a relatively streamlined profile.
