Voly Launches Purser Exchange Network During Monaco Yacht Show Week

Voly has launched The Purser Exchange, a dedicated professional network intended to give superyacht pursers a place to share operational knowledge, recommendations and practical experience. The company brought the new community to Monaco during yacht-show week with a launch gathering for pursers at the Fairmont.

The initiative sits alongside Voly's wider yacht-management platform rather than replacing its finance or crew software. Its purpose is to address the more human problem of a role that can carry substantial responsibility while leaving the individual purser professionally isolated on board.

A network built specifically for pursers

The Purser Exchange provides a space where pursers can ask questions, exchange answers and discuss challenges with people doing the same job on other yachts. Voly says the network also includes guest-tested recommendations, an events calendar and a growing resource library.

The model is designed to preserve useful operational knowledge that might otherwise disappear through informal group chats or one-to-one conversations. A dedicated network can make that experience searchable and reusable for people facing similar issues on different vessels.

Monaco provides the first major gathering

Voly marked the launch in Monaco with an evening for pursers at Amu in the Fairmont on 22 September, immediately before the main yacht-show programme. The event was positioned as a peer gathering rather than a formal conference or sales presentation.

That timing puts the network in front of a high concentration of active superyacht pursers, managers and service providers. Monaco also gives Voly an opportunity to connect the community element with its broader operational software presence during the industry's busiest networking week.

Finance remains part of the purser workload

Voly's existing purser tools cover receipts, invoices, purchase orders, approvals, budgets and financial reporting. The platform also supports multi-currency accounting, allowing transactions and supporting documents to be tracked against the yacht's operating budget.

Those functions reflect the financial responsibility carried by many pursers in addition to guest logistics and crew administration. The Purser Exchange adds peer support around that workload rather than presenting software as the only answer to operational complexity.

From software platform to professional community

Voly has expanded beyond its original finance focus into crew, technical, compliance and project-management functions through product development and acquisitions. The Purser Exchange extends that strategy into professional networking and shared knowledge rather than another transactional software module.
