Williams Jet Tenders presented three dedicated superyacht tenders at Monaco Yacht Show 2026 with its French dealer Mike Marine. The DieselJet 565, Evene Origin 57 and Evene Origin 71 span mothership installations from 30 metres upwards, giving captains and technical managers a side-by-side view of different guest-transfer capacities and diesel-powered layouts.

Three tenders, three yacht-size requirements

The display at Port Hercule paired the established Williams DieselJet 565 with two models from sister brand Evene Tenders. Williams lists the 565 at 5.71 metres for yachts from 35 metres, while the 5.65-metre Origin 57 is designed for motherships from 30 metres and the seven-metre Origin 71 for yachts from 40 metres. All three are explicitly developed as yacht tenders, not independent leisure-boat launches. The company exhibited at stand QJ3 and berth JT05bis between 23 and 26 September, with Mike Marine available to discuss fitment. These dimensions help crews shortlist the models before requesting detailed garage drawings and lifting specifications.

Diesel power and guest capacity

The DieselJet 565 and Origin 57 use 195hp Yanmar 4LV diesel engines and each seats nine people according to Williams. The Origin 71 uses a 250hp version and is specified for 13 people, providing a different solution where a larger group must travel in one transfer. Published dry weights are 1,227kg, 1,340kg and 1,750kg respectively, before the full operational loading is considered. Because Williams describes its published weights and speed figures as guidance, a yard should check the actual configured craft, fuel load and equipment before confirming tender-crane capacity or garage clearance.

Materials and access matter aboard the mothership

Williams describes the Origin models as HVO100-approved and specifies cork decking and recycled-PET upholstery. The DieselJet 565 instead highlights familiar garage-oriented features including a folding helm, Raymarine Axiom navigation and standard four-point lifting pad-eyes. These choices address different parts of the tender specification: fuel compatibility and finishes in one case, storage and handling in another. Owners should obtain approval and service documentation for the precise engine and fuel supply, while crew should check whether boarding, handholds, shade and guest protection match their programme. Sustainable materials are not a substitute for durability in high-cycle tender operations.

A Monaco comparison rather than a purchase shortcut

The show offered a useful opportunity to compare three tender packages within one builder group, but the eventual choice depends on the mothership. A tender carried in a garage needs measured hatch height, chock geometry, access for maintenance, fire provisions and a tested lifting arrangement, while a deck-stowed chase boat may face a different specification. Crew training, spare parts and the dealer's service reach should be considered alongside finishes and performance. The official Williams release provides the comparative figures and fitment guidance; Superyacht Guide reports the equipment as presented at Monaco, without treating indicative figures as sea-trial results on a particular owner yacht.

Yacht builders specifying one of the three tenders should also compare fuel quantities and reserve assumptions. Williams lists 140 litres for the DieselJet 565 and Origin 71 and 100 litres for the Origin 57; those capacities do not by themselves establish a usable range under a yacht's typical guest loading. A tender selected for longer coastal outings will need navigation, communications and safety equipment beyond the minimum required for short harbour transfers. Crew should also trial the boarding arrangement at both the yacht and the destination quay before final handover.
