IYC announces the 27m Sunseeker W OF JERSEY for sale, citing eight-guest accommodation, convertible cabins, extensive flybridge facilities and charter readiness.
International Yacht Company (IYC) announced on 13 October 2026 that the 27-metre Sunseeker motor yacht W OF JERSEY has joined its global sales fleet. The vessel is being presented to prospective owners as a family-focused motor yacht with a flexible guest layout, spacious flybridge, waterside beach club and the ability to operate in charter, subject to the buyer's intended use and the relevant regulations.
The move represents a brokerage appointment and the opening of a new sales opportunity. It does not mean that a transaction has been concluded, and the official announcement supplies neither a signed purchase agreement nor a confirmed completion date. The distinction matters when reporting yacht market activity, where new listings and actual sales are separate events.
IYC has added the 27-metre Sunseeker motor yacht W OF JERSEY to its international sales fleet, according to a company announcement issued on 13 October 2026. The new mandate concerns an existing, available yacht, not the launch of a newly built vessel or the completion of a sale. IYC describes her as a charter-ready boat with a generous social layout and substantial improvements specified by her present owner.
The company has not supplied a confirmed asking price in the announcement itself, so one should not be inferred from comparable listings or given as a verified current figure. More reliable particulars can be obtained from the broker before an inspection, including builder documentation, year, hull identification, tax position and a dated technical inventory.
The announced accommodation is for up to eight guests in four en-suite cabins, with two guest cabins capable of conversion for different berth arrangements. Such adaptability can be valuable for families who travel with children on one voyage and adult guests on another, avoiding the need to dedicate all lower-deck spaces permanently to a single sleeping format.
Four crew members support the guest accommodation according to IYC, a staffing level that may permit separate housekeeping, galley, tender and bridge duties depending on qualifications and the operational plan. Actual safe manning, crew configuration and guest capacity must still be assessed against the yacht's flag, certification, intended use and onboard operating requirements.
Among the main attractions described by the sales team is an oversized flybridge with a fixed hardtop and retractable canopy, creating several modes of exterior use. Shading can make an important difference to daytime comfort in the Mediterranean and other warm cruising areas, especially when guests prefer to remain outside without being continuously exposed to direct sunlight.
The proportions of a flybridge should be assessed together with the position of tables, seating, wind protection and safe access from other decks. A large upper deck is most useful when the crew can serve it efficiently, and when its fittings, drainage, safety rails and sun-shading equipment are maintained for repeated exposure to weather.
IYC highlights the aft beach-club concept, including transforming X-TEND sunbeds and a hydraulic bathing platform. These arrangements are designed to create a lounging area closer to the sea when the yacht is safely anchored and weather conditions allow the platform to operate, rather than simply functioning as a fixed swimming ladder.
Water-level terraces add genuine enjoyment but also introduce moving assemblies and operational constraints. Buyers should ask for a practical demonstration of the sunbed transformation, platform controls and emergency procedures and examine the maintenance record for hinges, actuators, sensors and watertight interfaces before valuing them as trouble-free amenities.
The official brokerage announcement cites a maximum speed of 29 knots and an approximate range of 1,100 nautical miles at 12 knots. These are the broker's stated performance figures, not the result of a fresh independent sea trial undertaken for this article, and they depend on the yacht's loading, engine health, fuel reserves, weather and the operating assumptions used.
CMC fin stabilisation is listed to improve comfort both underway and at anchor. For an owner planning overnight passages or extended anchoring, stabiliser service history and the correct operating configuration matter as much as the equipment name; a qualified marine engineer should review any alarms, hydraulic arrangements and power requirements before purchase.
IYC calls W OF JERSEY charter-ready, an attractive description for buyers interested in offsetting some operational expense by making the vessel available to paying guests. The announcement does not disclose audited charter receipts, confirmed bookings, management costs or an independently calculated net return, and none can responsibly be invented.
A genuine commercial-operation assessment would examine flag and class records where applicable, charter licensing, insurance, crew training and the seasonal locations in which demand exists. Charter activity also adds wear to equipment and furnishings and creates expenses for marketing, turnaround, catering and maintenance that are not captured by a headline charter rate.
At 27 metres, W OF JERSEY falls inside the large-yacht category where many owners want the leisure experience of a superyacht while preserving access to a broader choice of regional marinas and secluded anchorages. Nonetheless, overall length by itself does not determine berth access: beam, draught, local rules and the skills of the captain all influence where the yacht can operate.
Sunseeker's design language often places emphasis on exterior dining, performance and contemporary saloons, but prospective owners should evaluate this individual yacht rather than generalise from the builder's reputation. The installed options, after-sales support, hours on the machinery, electronics and the specific maintenance history will shape both the enjoyment and economics of ownership.
IYC says its Global Managing Partner Filip Jerolimov is one of the contacts for enquiries about the newly marketed yacht. The company is acting as the disclosed sales intermediary, meaning that a potential buyer can request a detailed specification, current location and arrangements for a personal or professionally accompanied inspection through that channel.
Before an offer, independent due diligence remains essential. It should include a survey, sea trial, title and registry review, confirmation of any outstanding liabilities and a list of items included in the sale; until such enquiries have been completed, the only confirmed market event is the new October 2026 IYC sales-fleet announcement.
