39.3m SES Sailing Yacht GRACE III Offered at €14.25 Million

Camper & Nicholsons is offering the 39.34-metre SES sailing yacht GRACE III for sale at €14.25 million during the Monaco Yacht Show 2026. Delivered in 2021, she is one of only five Hoek Truly Classic 128 yachts built and combines J Class-inspired styling with a modern aluminium sailing platform.

The yacht was commissioned by an experienced owner who was closely involved in the project, with the hull built in the Netherlands and final completion carried out by SES Yachts. That background gives GRACE III a different market position from a production sailing yacht because the layout, finish and sailing systems were shaped around a specific owner's programme.

Hoek design gives the yacht a modern-classic identity

Hoek Design Naval Architects was responsible for naval architecture, exterior styling and interior design, creating a consistent design language throughout the yacht. The long overhangs, low deckhouse and classic proportions reference traditional sailing yachts while the aluminium construction and modern rig place the performance firmly in the contemporary era.

The combination is aimed at owners who want a yacht that looks traditional without accepting the operating compromises of a genuinely historic vessel. Modern systems, class compliance and recent construction can reduce some of the maintenance uncertainty associated with older classic yachts while preserving the visual appeal that attracts buyers to the category.

Three cabins keep the accommodation focused

GRACE III accommodates seven guests in three cabins, supported by a crew of six, within a 131GT interior. The relatively low cabin count reflects the priorities of a performance-oriented sailing yacht, where machinery, sail handling and hull form all compete with guest accommodation for volume.

Camper & Nicholsons quotes a cruising speed of 10 knots under power and a maximum of 12 knots, while the yacht's real appeal lies in her sailing capability rather than engine performance. A single Scania engine provides auxiliary propulsion when conditions or manoeuvring requirements make sailing impractical.

€14.25m tests demand for nearly new modern classics

Large modern-classic sailing yachts trade less frequently than comparable motor yachts, so public asking prices are useful reference points even before a sale occurs. GRACE III's price places her against both older pedigree sailing yachts and newer performance cruisers with more contemporary styling.

Her current display in Monaco lets buyers compare the quality of the build and Hoek's design work directly with other sailing yachts in the show. The eventual transaction will help indicate how the brokerage market values scarcity, design pedigree and recent build age in the modern-classic sector.
