66.25m Anshin Arrives at Feadship for Three-Month Refit

Feadship has welcomed the 66.25-metre Anshin to Amsterdam for an intensive three-month refit, adding another substantial project to the Dutch builder’s Refit & Services workload. The programme combines an interior makeover with technical upgrades and changes to the yacht’s deck equipment.

The update comes directly from Feadship’s September PILOT briefing. It provides a useful snapshot of how large-yacht refit work increasingly combines guest-area renewal with engineering and operational changes during a tightly defined yard period.

Interior and technical work

Feadship says the three-month programme includes a substantial interior makeover alongside technical upgrades. The yard has not yet published a detailed system-by-system scope, so the work should be treated as an active refit rather than a completed transformation.

For owners and captains, the compressed timetable is notable because interior and technical packages must be coordinated around access, testing and recommissioning. The project also demonstrates the continuing role of original builders in maintaining and updating large yachts later in their operating lives.

New cranes for motorcycles

One of the more unusual elements is the installation of two new cranes on the sun deck for a pair of Honda Gold Wing motorcycles. That requirement turns deck-equipment engineering into part of the refit brief and illustrates how highly individual owner equipment can influence a yacht’s later modifications.

The cranes will need to support safe handling and stowage while fitting into the yacht’s existing deck arrangement. Feadship has not disclosed further specifications for the lifting equipment in its briefing.

Feadship refit workload

Anshin is part of a wider period of activity for Feadship Refit & Services. The same update notes work involving Halcyon, Graycliffs, Valoria, Callisto and Ulysses, although the scope and timing differ between yachts.
