Baglietto has sold the first 47-metre DOM155, the new flagship of its DOM series, to an experienced returning client.
Baglietto has sold the first unit of the new DOM155 line, a 47-metre aluminium yacht positioned as the flagship of the DOM range. The order was placed by an experienced client with an existing appreciation for the Baglietto brand.
Stefano Vafiadis designed the exterior, while Leonardo Santi will develop the interior of the first hull. The yacht remains below 500 GT and extends the DOM idea into a larger platform with more volume and broader outdoor spaces.
The aft area combines an infinity pool with a configurable beach club that can be arranged as a spa, gym or additional garage. Full-height glazing and open circulation are intended to strengthen the connection between interior spaces and the exterior decks.
The main deck includes a full-beam owner’s suite and four guest cabins, with an optional fifth cabin available in the layout. A 130-square-metre sundeck adds 360-degree views, lounge areas and another pool.
Twin Caterpillar C32 engines are expected to give the DOM155 a maximum speed of 16 knots. Baglietto says aluminium construction allows the design to combine relatively shallow draft with performance and extensive owner customisation.
The sale came only months after the DOM155 was first presented to the market and formed part of a rapid sequence of orders for the La Spezia yard. Baglietto is positioning the yacht as a new reference point for owners seeking high volume without moving above the 500 GT threshold.
