Baglietto has announced the sale of the fourteenth hull in its DOM133 series. The yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2028 and was sold with support from Tomaso Polli of Y.CO.
Stefano Vafiadis will oversee both the exterior and interior design of the new yacht. The continuity of a single designer across the project gives the owner room to personalise the yacht while retaining the visual identity that has made the DOM133 recognisable.
The DOM133 has become one of Baglietto’s strongest-performing series in the 40-metre market. A recent World Superyacht Awards win in the sub-500 GT displacement category added further visibility to a model already supported by a substantial order book.
Baglietto attributes much of the line’s success to the ability to alter layouts and finishes without losing the core platform. That approach can shorten engineering time while still giving each owner meaningful control over how the yacht is arranged.
The latest sale pushes the DOM133 production schedule further into 2028. For the shipyard, that provides longer-term workload visibility across suppliers, engineering teams and the La Spezia production operation.
For buyers, the number of completed and ordered sisterships creates a growing base of operational experience. That can reduce uncertainty around performance, systems and build execution while still allowing substantial personalisation of each individual yacht.
